[Meanwhile back at the Injustice universe, Fire visit the Vault and meets the archivist stationed there.]
Archivist: (bowing at her) A pleasure most rare, Fire.
Fire: I need information on the governance. History and current structure.
Archivist: Ah. For your treaty negotiations with the Supreme Commander?
[This catches Fire off guard for a moment but decides to play along with the charade.]
Fire: Yes. The treaty discussions.
Archivist: I'm afraid our resources are limited. Kara has been less willing to reveal her regime's inner workings.
Fire: Tell me what you know. Recount the events of her ascension.
[The archivist stares at her in suspicious but Fire quickly gives him a reason to not raise any doubts from her.]
Fire: A thorough review might illuminate new strategies for negotiation.
Archivist: I am humbled, mam.
[He bows a bit before walking along with Fire around the library while telling Fire what he knows.]
Archivist: Five years ago the criminal Richard Ratchet deceived Kara into killing most her adoptive family and destroying most of the major cities around the world. Consumed by grief, Kara killed Ratchet.
Fire: Yes... We all remember where we were that day...
Archivist: Afterward she showed no restraint. Judge, jury and executioner, she and other like-minded protectors quickly reined in the criminal element.
Fire: Which made her quite popular.
Archivist: The world was desperate for strong leadership. Kara consolidated her power. She created the One Earth government. Democratic
institutions were swept away.
[Just then a Protector guard appears before them.]
Gaurd: Mam. The Supreme Commander's envoys await you in the meeting room.
[As Fire enters the meeting room, she sees Regime Barry in a more futuristic armor and Regime Arc Aura inside her battle armor. They look happy to see Fire the moment they see her.]
Fire: Barry! Arc Aura! Welcome! (Both envoys bow before her)
R.Arc Aura: Fire. It's a pleasure to meet one of the core.
R.Barry: And to be the first to visit the vault.
Fire: Yes. We have important matters to discuss. The treaty.
R.Barry: The final draft. (As he takes it out) Kara is glad you've agreed to her terms.
Fire: May I?
[Regime Barry gives her the treaty as Fire opens it. She walks away from them as she reads it but her expression changes upon reading the condition in the treaty.]
R.Arc Aura: Is there a problem, Your Highness?
Fire: This is complete subjugation. Kara will rule what little government is left outside the mainlands!
R.Barry: It's what you agreed to. It's what we expect.
Fire: You threaten me? Think carefully.
R.Barry: We have our orders.
[As both attack Fire, she manages to dodge it while Regime Arc Aura accidentally shot Regime Barry. Fire manages to knock Regime Arc Aura down as Regime Barry manages to use his speed and land some punches until Fire holds him and knocks him down.]
