CODY POV

I was so excited for today! Me and Noah were going shopping to find matching outfits for Halloween! I mean I technically begged him but who cares?

He hates Halloween so it's only fair to torture my c- best friend more! It's my hobby at this point.

Noah was more of the introverted type, I think I was the only person who could actually bribe him to do things. Wonder why?

I was sat in my bed scrolling on my phone when I realised the time, shit Noah was supposed to be here in 40..30 minutes?!

I sprung out of bed, hitting my toe on the side of my bed, "SON OF A BITCH!" I screamed, hand clamped on my toe, hopping around the room.

"CODY, LANGUAGE!" My Dad screamed from downstairs, I don't know why he hated swearing so much but it wasn't my fault stubbing your toe hurt like- hell!

"SORRY DAD!" I called downstairs, he probably couldn't hear me over the football game so it's whatever.

I opened my wardrobe to try find my best outfit, I don't know why I was trying to look good but I secretly wanted Noah to think I looked cool. Is that weird?

I shrugged it off and pulled on a white button up shirt and a yellow vest with blue jeans. I admired myself in the mirror, "looking good!" I giggled pointing finger guns at my mirror. What? That's not weird!

My outfit did look a little basic though, fuck I forgot jewellery!

If you didn't know me, I love jewellery so much. Every single school detention I have had is for it, I don't know why it's such a problem? Suddenly if I'm wearing a bracelet they act like I'm going to fail high school according to our stupid school rules. For fucks sake let kids express themselves!

I put on a few silver rings, one with a bunny on it and the others with different types of planets and stars. I was a massive fan of science and space so they were my favourites! Everyone said I was some geek for liking space but I don't think so..

I then put on a few chains and posed in front of the mirror. This outfit looked so much better! Noah would love it! Why did I suddenly care what he thought?

I scurried to the bathroom and put some gel in my hair to make it spike up a bit, so it looked cool.. you know? I really hoped Noah liked my hair!

Okay.. I admit it I may have a small crush on Noah. What? Can't help the guy is handsome! Super handsome..

What was I thinking? He would never like someone like me, I don't even think he is gay!

I really hoped he wasn't homophobic, maybe he would hate me if I told him! Tears pricked in my eyes as I quickly wiped them away, couldn't mess up my neatly done eyeliner now, could I?

I then heard the doorbell ring, Noah! I quickly grabbed my bag and wallet, running downstairs.

I could see Noah through the glass pane in the door.. smiling? That was new. He usually hated going anywhere especially shopping!

I swung open the door and flung myself into Noah's arms, he stumbled back before pulling away, laughing awkwardly.

"Nice to see you too Cody," he rolled his eyes at me, punching me playfully in the arm.

"Hey!" I punched him back giggling.

"Oh wow," Noah said as he stared at me in awe.

"What? Never seen style?" I asked, quite confidently if I do say so myself.
