I do not wish to die
But I am not afraid of death.
There is a beauty in the inevitable.
In the idea we only get this one
Fleeting chance to create something meaningful.
While we navigate the unknown,
We are conscious of the certain.
While we may be different,
Polar opposites in the land of the living,
We all continue to share the same end.
Our views on the matter conjure mass debates,
Only discovering the truth at the last second.
We playfully want for it,
To end the suffering we never asked for,
Despite the joys we are forced to consume.
I do not wish to die,
But I am not afraid of death.
For there are worse things to fear.
