During the funeral of Giyuu's son not a single tear fell till everyone left and that was when giyuu broke down, Kenji and giyuu tried to get over his son's death but couldn't and not long Kenji started to drink..

Everyday Giyuu would be beaten or get forced on by his used to be lovingly caring husband

Giyuu would cover the bruises with clothing or bandage's and use make up to cover some of the scars on his face

That was Giyuu life just repeative abuse or rape but even through that Giyuu Still loved and cared for his husband

Giyuu was on the verge of killing himself when he found out that Kenji was dead but was stopped by me and muichiro

Me and mui reminded him that they loved and cared about him and how we would never forgive ourselves if we couldn't help or save Giyuu

And that's about it
Mitsuri said as she turned to the other hashira's

Sanemi said as he looked down and remembered how his father Treated his mother and how he treated giyuu before his disappearance Sanemi felt Guilty.
