Soon, my second year would finally be over. The campus was full of students right about now trying to cram for their final exams. Books in hand, cheese toasties in mouths as they hustle to the library or an empty classroom.
I smile to myself — I kind of liked it. Number one, professors weren't on our case as much as they were on seniors and number two, it was nice to see. I mean yeah, they were stressed out but they were finally ready to pursue the career they wanted to.
"Why are you acting like that?"
I look back at Tems, who had an open textbook infront of her with a coffee cup beside it. She was looking at me oddly.
"Like what?"
"Like, jittery. I dunno, you ain't even opened your book yet and you're the one who wanted to come here to study," she explains to me but I didn't have the attention span to answer.
