The story takes place in an alternative universe of The Persona Series. Most of the elements will stay the same but with minor changes. For example, instead of becoming an actress who plays the role of Pink Argus in Ranger Featherman Victory, Yukari Takeba instead becomes a Journalist.
So if you're looking for a Persona Fanfiction where it stays with the canonical timeline then I suggest looking for another fanfic to read, but hey that's your choice.
