Chapter 20

Lee Mansion

Minho and Felix arrive and quickly start packing a bag each with enough clothes for the next couple of days. As they finished and were about to head out, they ran into someone unexpected.

"Where are you 2 headed off to?" Wooyoung asked.

"Oh...um," said Felix, trying not to sound nervous. "we're headed to Chan and Seungmin's place. You know it's my birthday in 2 days so we figured to spend with them. Since dad's not gonna be around."

"I see." Wooyoung said.

"Speaking of which," Minho said "why aren't you with dad? Aren't you supposed to be his top bodyguard?"

"He actually sent me here to get something important for him." said Wooyoung. "Well I guess I won't keep you 2 any longer. Oh and, happy birthday Felix."

"Thanks Wooyoung." Felix said as he and Minho were headed out.

"Man that was close!" Minho said, loud enough for Felix to hear. "I thought for sure things were go south."

"Yeah." said Felix "I just hope no one feels like calling Mr. Bang's place to 'check' up on us."

"Yeah I know." Minho said "Let's get out of here."

But little did the Lee brothers know that their mother was looking at them from her room on the top floor. "What are those 2 up to?" she says.

Back at the timeshare, the 4 boys were enjoying their surroundings, lounging around and talking while waiting for their respective partners. "Man, I still can't get over this place?" Jisung said as he was channel surfing thru the t.v.

"Yeah," said Jeongin "this is like those places you only see in magazines or those shows about rich people showing off their homes."

Hyunjin and Changbin went outside to the patio to talk. "I still can't believe we're staying here for a bit." said Hyunjin "This all still feels so surreal. And Jisung loves it here, so does Jeongin. This is like Jisung's always wanted but better."

"I know." says Changbin "I wouldn't mind living in a place like this too. All of us happy and together."

"Speaking of which," Hyunjin said "you're pretty close with Chan now. Are you...?"

"Oh no." Changbin said, his eyes widening a little "We're just friends."

"But do you like him?" Hyunjin asked "And I mean like him, like him.

"To be honest, I'm not sure." Changbin said "I mean don't get me wrong, I think he's very attractive and we both have similar interests, including working out."

"Obviously." Hyunjin agreed.

"But he's never mentioned anything so I don't know how he feels." said Changbin "Him and I were having a nice conversation, but Seungmin came in and stole him so they could pick up their things."

"I bet you were crushed." Hyunjin said, dramatically putting his hand to his heart and acting like he got heart broken.

"Shut up." said Changbin as he tried to smack Hyunjin across the head, but the latter ducked.

"Come on, let's go inside." Hyunjin said, giggling like a child.

"You're a real menace Hwang." Changbin said jokingly as he followed Hyunjin back inside.

Jisung and Jeongin were enjoying a BL drama they found. Hyunjin and Changbin joined as well, immersing themselves in the drama, when, they hear the front door open.

"We're back!" Chan says, walking inside as the rest of the boys follow in suite. "And look what we brought."

The group noticed the boys were carrying more than just their stuff to spend a few days on, but bags of food as well.

"You got us take-out?" Jisung says excitedly, getting up from the couch.

"Of course!" said Minho "We gotta take care of boyfriends don't we?"

At the sound of word boyfriend, Changbin felt his heart skip a beat. He kept pondering about his feelings towards Chan and if he felt the same way. He didn't want to assume. Sometimes he wished he could read minds.

He and Hyunjin helped the others with their stuff, putting the bags of food on the kitchen counter while the latter went to their respective rooms to drop off their belongings.

"You 2 coming or what?" Hyunjin called out to Jisung and Jeongin.

"Of course!" Jisung said, getting up and taking Jeongin with him "Food!"

Hyunjin couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of his brother. That has never met a plate of food that he didn't like. It was really nice seeing him back to his usual happy self. It even made him forget about the horrible event with their father.

"Well, who's hungry?" Minho said, walking to the island on the kitchen.

"Me!" said Jisung, rubbing his stomach.

"Ji, you're always hungry." Hyunjin said, rolling his eyes.

"Hey! A boy has to eat." Jisung said. Hyunjin walked up to him and playfully messed up his hair. "Cut it out."

"You know you love it Ji." said Hyunjin. "Yeah, yeah whatever." said Jisung, trying to fix his hair.

As the boys were unpacking the food, Hyunjin noticed other stuff that wasn't take out food. "Flour, milk, butter, chocolate chips?" Hyunjin said, taking the ingredients out of the bag.

"Oh, I got those." said Felix "I was thinking about making us some dessert."

"Lixie, you can bake?!" Hyunjin exclaimed. "That's amazing! Even I'm not that good."

"Oh it's nothing really." Felix said, getting a little red. "It's more of a hobby if anything."

"Lix don't be so modest." Minho said. He then looks over at Hyunjin and gives him a wink "He's really good at it."

"Lino!" said Felix, getting even redder.

"It's true Felix." says Chan "We would always say that he should open up his own bakery."

"You know my dad would never let me." Felix said, causing Hyunjin to frown. But then he said "It's ok Hyunnie, don't think about it." Felix always notices how Hyunjin gets whenever he mentions his dad to him and all the ridiculous things he expects from him.

As the boys bring the food to the table, Felix starts getting to work making cookies. "You're not gonna join us Lix?" Hyunjin asked.

"I'll join you in a bit." said Felix "I gotta get these started as soon as possible."

"But..." before Hyunjin could finish his sentence, Felix quickly pecked him on the lips, making him blush.

He then puts his hand on Hyunjin's cheek. "Don't worry, I'll join you as soon as I throw them in the oven." he says. Hyunjin then smiles, returning his peck on the lips to Felix. "Don't take too long."

Hyunjin sits down at the table with the others. "Lix is very strict on time." says Minho. "He takes baking very seriously."

As the boys are enjoying their meal, Hyunjin keeps stealing glances over at Felix. He looks like a man on a mission. Felix looks up and sees Hyunjin looking at him, and he waves at him. Hyunjin then blows a kiss at Felix and he pretends to catch it.

"Don't you 2 look sweet." Jisung says, making a heart shape with his hands.

"What?" says Hyunjin "I never say anything when you get all lovey dovey with Minho." Almost on cue, Minho plants a peck on Jisung's cheek causing him to blush. Hyunjin puts his elbow on the table and makes a fist, resting his chin on it. "Should I ask you 2 to get a room?" Jisung gets even redder. "Shut up." he says, causing everyone to burst out into laughter.

Even Felix who was incredibly focused on making his cookies couldn't help but laugh at the sight. After he mixed all of the ingredients, he started taking the dough and rolling them into circles and putting them on the baking pans. He was surprised that he made so many. He hoped everyone would like them, especially Hyunjin. After he put the in the oven, he set the timer and joined the others at the table.
