All days leading up to this day being Friday had just been terrible for Blue. At this point she hated coming to school. It was now more of a chore than something actually fun for her.

King and Kiki had been getting way too comfortable with each other than she'd liked. Every time she showed up they were always sitting together, holding hands, laughing and all other stupid shit.

Kiara had even started sitting next to him- SHE sat next to him, and she'd been doing that since fourth grade so now that Kiara had basically taken up her spot she had to settle for the seat behind them which gave her much more of a view of their relationship than she'd liked.

Although they hadn't admitted to her that they were in a relationship yet, it was pretty obvious.

They were never this close before.

"Are we still up for bowling tomorrow?" Blue asks her friends at the end of the school day while packing up the last of her textbooks in her book bag.

They'd been planning it all week and honestly she was really excited for it. Her mom-Beyoncé- had even given her permission to leave the house without any bodyguard assisting her.

"Oh umm about that.. I'll actually not be available tomorrow, sorry." King says giving out an apologetic smile.

Kiki giving her own excuse as well.

Blue wasn't stupid, she knew they had both forgotten of their plans and probably set up 'a date' for themselves.

Shrugging she lets out a little smile that didn't reach her eyes, "It's okay. It's not like we've been planning this all week." And then she swiftly turned on her heels and left them standing there in the hallway, King getting ready to go after her and Kiki just shrugging in confusion at her little attitude.

"Hey! Wait up!"

Blue tries to shrug off the hand she feels holding on to her wrist but isn't able to get him off, "Leave me alone, King!"

"Calm down okay. Shh Shh." He says which only makes Blue roll her eyes at him.

"Stop making stupid sounds." And at that point she couldn't help but let out a small smile but doesn't let him see it.

"Okay okay I'll stop." He smiles "I'm sorry I cancelled on the bowling plans because honestly I actually forgot about it but promise we can go out on Sunday just us." He says holds his hand up to his chest like a swear.

"You don't have to make promises to me just cause I'm being a baby about some stupid plans." Blue mumbles looking down, she didn't like feeling like this but honestly she felt like she'd all of a sudden become a burden on their friend group.

"Hey pick your head up. I'm not making promises just cause I want to make you feel better. We're best friends you know that. We haven't hung out in so long, so we're gonna do that this Sunday no ifs and or buts."

"No ifs and or buts." Blue manages to smile as they hear a car suddenly honk behind them.

Turning over to face the car, they see it's just her driver. He then suddenly hugs her even though it barely lasted a second and although it was really short she couldn't help but blush as his cologne encompasses her senses. He smelt realllly good!

Sunday finally comes around, the sky bright but definitely not as bright as the smile on Blue's face.

She was already dressed up in a blue sundress waiting in the living room for him to come pick her up.

He hadn't told her where they'd be going, but just let her know not to dress up too much. Beyoncé and Onika having already met the boy multiple times didn't have to ask too many questions when Blue had told them of her plans.
