Fay smiled as Hermit runs his hand on her bare back, enjoying the bliss of having him take care of her in such way. It seems after last night; she has grown to love him more- knowing that for over ten years he walked with the memory of her eyes in his head. Although another thought plagued her mind. Something she can't tell him. Yet.
"The water has run cold. We should climb out.'' He stated standing up before giving her his hand which she gladly took and he helped her out of the bath tub.
"Hermit. We need you right now.'' Emmett's strained voice sounded from outside their chamber, snapping their heads towards the door as Hermit stops drying her hair with a towel.
Hermit knew something is wrong, he could feel it. He walked to the door after quickly wearing a trouser and shirt, he opened the door to see a disheveled looking Emmett, his eyes look dark and distanced.
"What is wrong?'' The question caught Emmett's attention and when he opened his mouth to speak, he closed it right back when he noticed Fay's presence behind Hermit. Emmett knew what he was about to say is something she shouldn't hear and this only answered Hermit's suspicion.
"Come Fay.'' Was his order as he closed the door trying to hide any emotion. He wasn't supposed to feel. He scolded himself.
"Here. Stay here. I'll be right back.'' He told her before placing a chaste kiss on her forehead after she sat on the bed then he hurriedly left, her curious eyes following after him.
______________
Hermit walked into the chamber, the Queen's head lying on Jacobi's chest stopped him in his track, her wailing was like a cut through his heart.
Since he could perfectly remember, he has never heard the Queen cry, she is a strong woman but it seems not today.
Theodore was right at the edge of the bed with teary eyes and in this moment, Hermit was too shocked to destroy anything, it was Venus who was busy destroying anything he could destroy in the chamber. Emmett was too quiet. Adam has a shocked expression while Marius has an expressionless face.
"Someone give me back my Jacobi. You can't leave just like that Jacobi. Please.'' The Queen cried, her fist hitting his chest.
Hermit felt a lone tear escape his eye; he never knew he could feel an emotion like this. It was foreign and he prays to never feel something like it again.
He wanted to bring back his brother so he'd laugh to his jokes and light hearted remarks. He wants to save their mother from all this pain so her cries would seize; her cries cut through his heart more than a dagger would.
Hermit felt himself fall to his knees, it seems after all, it wasn't Theodore but Jacobi and they were too blind to notice this. Or maybe not too blind but clueless.
______________
Fay watched as Theodore runs his hand over his face in an attempt to seize his tears, his black hair disheveled and those brown eyes of his held nothing but pain. Venus was still unleashing destruction to whatever he saw and Hermit, his control was scaring her to the bones. Emmett has locked himself in his room probably crying. And Michelle? She has been crying her eyes out.
The way she saw the Queen shaking Jacobi, pleading with his lifeless body to at least look at her for just a moment, Fay couldn't seem to take it out of her mind. The tears ran down Fay's cheek, she couldn't believe it, it was someone she had spent her day with playing chess and exchanging charming words. Or Maybe she was a fool for taking his words as joke and nothing more for if she had taken his words serious, this was expected, maybe not now but it would have happened soon.
