1) Ode to a Dragonfly

O dragonfly, such beauty you are,
Your sapphire blue skin shining brighter than the stars,
O what I would do to shine as beautifully as you,
How the moonlight's gaze hits your glistening skin,

O, dragonfly and those translucent wings,
What I would do to be able to fly along horizons and feel the breeze,
O, what I would do to be as free as you

O, dragonfly! O dragonfly! How I envy you,
The freedom you have and the possibilities ahead of you,
How you're always the center star within golden hour rays,
How your wings bring you everywhere and away from worryful days,
O dragonfly..What I would do just to get a taste of your everyday praise
