"What's up with Y/N?" Chad asked. You were sitting there with your earbuds in, a gloomy look on your face. Tara angrily sighed,

"Stupid Liam broke up with her" That caught Ethan's attention. He stopped chewing on his burger and stared at you from across the table.

Ethan always had a crush on you. Your relationship had always been banter and snarky remarks. Most of those remarks coming from you.

He never knew why you did, you always made fun of how weird and nerdy he was, or how he didn't really have any friends besides Chad. He always came back at you by picking fun of your bad character impressions that you seemed to be very confident of, and how bad your hair cut was at the beginning of the school year when he first met you (to be fair, the hairdresser really fucked up your bangs and made you look like you had a terrible fringe),

Even though you picked on each other, Ethan had a humongous crush on you. He thought picking on you back was better than ignoring you and not being able to interact with you. As long as he got your attention, he didn't care,

"Why does she keep listening to the same song over and over again? I can hear how loud it's playing through her earbuds" Chad said, stuffing a fry in his mouth. Mindy, who was sitting beside you shook her head and crossed her arms,

"It's cause that loser told her to" she said.

Ethan frowned and spoke,

"What does that mean?" He asked, placing his burger in the styrofoam container.

Tara began to explain,

Y/N sits on her bed staring at her phone, waiting for her boyfriend to call her. Your friend, Tara is laying on her stomach next to her, waiting as well, giggling,

"So like, did it hurt when he, y'know?" Tara asked, wiggling her eyebrows at you. You giggled, thinking back to the night before when your boyfriend, Liam, had took your virginity,

"Yeah. It was so fast, though. He like, put it in and he finished in two seconds. It hurt bad" You said, leaning your head back against the wall, biting your lip. Tara frowned and sat up,
