A Date Chap.26

A Few Days later....

Today was one of the days Neuvillette had some time free from his duties, and so he thought It a good Idea to ask you on what is called a date to which you hadn't had since getting together. Neuvillette was honestly a little nervous to ask if you'd like to go out on a date, he thought It silly that he was thinking so hard about how to ask you but you were his lover so why should he be?

It was at Noon, you were doing your usual duty of cleaning up his office a little bit while he wasn't there all the while you started to hum while also doing a little dance. It had been so long since you'd last danced with Neuvillette, you'd love the chance to again as long as he did too 

just then the door creaked, you turned to see him as his ears were now a deep red color 

you smiled, "Lettie? did you need something"

Neuvillette cleared his throat, "Excuse me, I...."

he stepped inside and closed the door behind him "I had something I wanted to ask you"

you gave him your attention, "Hm?"

Neuvillette's ears became pink again, "Would you like to...go out for the evening with me?"

you smiled, "A Date?"

"Yes, I suppose that's what I'm trying to say"

you giggled and went closer to him, "I see, I'd love to"

Neuvillette smiled, "Alright,"

he opened his arms and you went into them as he held you, he rested his chin atop your head just as Furina peeked her head in listening with delight at what was happening 

"Oho? a Date I see"

just then you and Neuvillette turned to see Furina, In which you both broke Into fierce blushes 

she strode inside, "Come now, I already know about your relationship and there's no reason to be shy"

Neuvillette cleared his throat, "I suppose so...Is there something the matter?"

Furina shook her head, "No, I simply need to borrow (Y/n) for a moment"

she took your hand and pulled you along to follow her, leaving your lover behind as he wondered what Furina was upto now but he didn't worry at all. she took you to her room as she rummaged through her drawers before taking out a box that she presented to you 

"Why don't you wear this tonight?"

you took the box and opened It to see a very pretty outfit, (It's the one In the Picture above)

Furina smiled, "Lovely Isn't it? why are you standing there with your mouth gaping? this is a gift from me to you"

you looked up, "Thank you Furina"

"Of course! you can have It matter of fact I've never once worn this"

you smiled, "I'll take good care of it, thank you Lady Furina"

Furina then offered you to join her for some tea and to chat a while In which you accepted, and soon later on evening came with It being time for your first date with Neuvillette.

You were a tad bit nervous just like he was, but this would be treated of course like any other time you were able to be yourselves around each other free to be the couple that you are 

you now sat at your vanity as you finished doing your hair and makeup, now also dressed In the outfit Furina gave to you with it being a good fit. After taking one last look over you soon left your bedroom to go meet Neuvillette outside the Palais Mermonia where he waited 

"Lettie"

he turned to see you, a smile coming "You look lovely In blue,"

you smiled, "Thank you"

"I went ahead and made a reservation for us at Hotel Debord"

Neuvillette took your hand in his and kissed it before you held onto his elbow, you then headed off away from the Palais as you headed to Quartier Narbonnais on the Aquabus. After it arrived at the station you and Neuvillette disembarked as you headed to Hotel Debord, Upon coming inside you were welcomed by Leone who showed you to the Restaurant, to the second floor where you were shown to your table with Neuvillette sitting across from you

Leone left you In her younger sister's care Argalia as she went back downstairs, 

"Welcome, Is there anything you'd like to drink?" 

Neuvillette started, "Just a glass of water for me, my dear?"

you turned to Argalia, "I'd like some as well thank you"

"Alright I'll be back with your drinks" she said

Neuvillette straightened up his Jabot, "It's been quite a while since we last came here"

you giggled, "Yes, the first time for me it was when we joined his Grace for a meal"

he reached over to touch your hand, "I must Apologize my dear"

you held his hand, "For what?"

"We haven't had much time to be us...I mean"

you gave his hand a squeeze, "I know, but you're very busy Lettie so I understand we can't have our moments but...I will always wait for you"

Neuvillette let out a sigh, "You truly are wonderful"

you smiled, "Not really..."

Neuvillette got up to come around to you as he suddenly felt overcome, he brought you against him as you hugged him In return but then you looked up at him as he moved in to kiss you

"Ahem"

you and Neuvillette turned to see Argalia returned, Neuvillette swiftly went back to his seat as she brought your drinks before taking your orders with him ordering Consomme, while you opted for something new this time so you ordered the Trout Amadine 

Neuvillette's ears became pink, "I apologize, perhaps we should try this again later"

you giggled, "Agreed"

you then had a nice little chat with him about recent cases In the court, and soon your food arrived with you enjoying the meal together all the while you enjoyed the time alone.

After dinner you went for a stroll together all the while you window shopped, In which Neuvillette happened to buy you a new perfume from a shop owned by the renowned Emilie

"Lettie I can't this is...."

he held your hand, "I know what you wish to say, but...I'd like to do what they say is called spoiling my lover"

you were surprised but then started to giggle, "Darling you...you're quite adorable do you know that?"

he blushed, "Adorable you say?"

you smiled warmly, "Yes...but it's not a bad thing at all"

you hugged him and he brought his arms around you in return as you then continued on your stroll, and soon came to a stop as you viewed the moon together in his arms 

"It's so pretty..."

Neuvillette caressed your cheek, "Indeed, now if you don't mind...I should like to pick up where we left off earlier"

you giggled, "Of course"

you met his gaze as you turned to face him more, with Neuvillette pressing his lips to yours In a tender kiss with you kissing him back as you reveled in the long awaited closeness.
