Ch1 Encounter

David's pov

It was 9pm Anthony had left the coffee shop. I was in the back just cleaning up then I heard the bell ring

D: "we're closed!".
I walked to the front to see a short girl with a messy bun.
D:"we're closed".
?:" yeah, look I saw the sign but I'm desperate for a cup of coffee"
D:" it's basically midnight what you need a cup of coffee for?".
?:"studying".
D:"school only starts tomorrow".
?:"gotta be prepared for everything, now can I get my coffee".
D:"coming right up".
I walked to the coffee machine.

I gave her the coffee.
D:"that will cost $9.50".
?:" this usually only costs five bucks".
D:"well it's the middle of the night, I'm supposed to be at home".
?:"fine".
She took her coffee and left.
'what a strange girl' David thought

When I got home it was around 10.30pm Anthony was already sleeping. I took a quick shower and went to bed.

I woke to Anthony calling my name.
A:"David dude wake up we're going to be late for school".
D:"you know when I asked you to be my roommate, didn't take you for someone who likes school.".
A:"get up!".
As soon as Anthony left I checked my phone to see it was 6am I had an hour and 30 minutes to get ready. I took a quick shower and wore my outfit

I finished getting ready and saw my sister Natasha sitting on the couch and Anthony was making breakfast
N:"Доброе утро".(good morning)
I heard my sister say. I looked at her with drowsy eyes.
D:"Хорошо - это не то, что я бы сказал".(good is not the way I would put it).
N:"Извините за это. Как бы то ни было, Энтони готовит завтрак. Ешь, сажай свою в машину и отвози нас в школу". (sorry about that. Anyway Anthony is making breakfast. Eat, get your bitch ass in the car and drive us to school).
D:"да... Хорошо, я думаю, что нам следует пропустить завтрак.. Мы опоздаем". (yeah... OK I think we should skip breakfast we're going to be late).
I said looking over at the burnt omelette, toast?. Nat snickered also looking at the food.

The drive to school took at least 20 minutes.
A:" This. Is. Awesome ".
D:" me and you have very different perspectives of Awesome".
N:"come on idiots this is our first time in an American school, it is awesome.
I gave my sister a death glare and she just smiled at me.
A:" could you guys stop your sibling fight, let's get to the assembly hall.
Natasha had been leading the way since she was good with maps. We entered the nosy hall that was full with kids around the ages of 15 and 18. Natasha went to sit in the front while I went to sit at the back. I looked beside me to see the girl from the Cafe.

Anthony's pov:

I had lost David and Natasha. I was still looking for the Assembly Hall when I bumped into a tall man with black hair and hazel eyes he was wearing a green sweater and blue jeans.
?:"oh I'm so sorry".
He side in a heavy, Italian accent
A:" uh.. um.. You don't have to apologize to me I'm the one who bumped into you".
Di:"well I'm still sorry. My name is Diego by the way"
A:"Anthony"
Di:"shouldn't you be in the assembly hall?".
A:"thing is, I'm lost...".
Di:"Down the hall, take a left".

He smiled pointing behind him.

A:"thanks, speaking about going to the assembly shouldn't you be there too?"
Di:"it doesn't start without me and I'm trying to get my twin mad".
A:"okay thanks".

I entered the hall to see a bunch of annoyed people. I went to sit in the front next to Nat.
N:"where were you?".
A:"I got lost".
N:"weren't you behind us, how do you get lost?".
A:"l was looking around the school, you should see the chemistry lab here".
N:"Nerd"
A:"don't call me that. How long have you been waiting?".
N:"7 minutes".

2 minutes later I saw Diego come on stage. He sat at the edge of the stage next to someone with black scruffy hair, the man with black hair pushed a microphone to Diego's chest. 'your late' he whisper shouted

Di:'I know'.
Diago whispered back

A man wearing a gray suit and black glasses came up and started talking about careers like acting, writing ect...

ut he didn't talk about the military wich I found confusing.

People started talking about what they did but I wasn't paying attention to them. I only started to listen when Diago started to talk, but he was talking with the guy who gave him the microphone.

Di:"well most of you know who I am but for you who don't I'm Diego and this is my brother Justin. I'm pretty sure you know what we're going to talk about, I'm a doctor and

J:" I'm a lawyer
Di:"Doctors are the ones to have a profound knowledge of all kinds of diseases, their symptoms, and their treatments. They work day and night selflessly for society's good health. Di:"no, I just go with the flow of things"

Di:"says the lawyer"

The same guy wearing the gray suit and glasses who I'm guessing is principal Russo came back out on stage again.
PR:you two shut up. That will be all everyone you may get to your classes.
