I walked along the Hogwarts express peaking into each compartment looking for Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.

Where could they possibly be I pondered growing frustration.

I opened the door to check another compartment as a warm smile grew on my face as I saw the familiar faces of my friends.

I sat down next to Hermione giving a quick glance over her shoulder,

"i forgot we had O.W.L.s exams this year" I groaned before letting out a small chuckle.

"don't worry we will have plenty of time to study together throughout the year before the actual exams" she gave me a reassuring smile.

Her smile was warm against her brown hair that was in delicate curls that placed perfectly around her golden brown eyes,

My eyes wandered towards Harry and Ron, they looked the same as last year with pitch black and ginger hair but with more mature face features. They were whispering about something that i couldn't quiet hear.

"what's going on with you two?" I chirped with a sarcastic tone.

"nothi-"

"we are trying to turn a rat yellow" Ron confessed interrupting Harry,

I started laughing as Hermione sat up reaching for her wand to show Ron how to perform the spell.

"alright i'm going to grab some sweet from the trolley, do you guys want anything?"

The three of them looked towards each other and collectively shook their heads responding no, "more for me then" I shrugged my shoulders as I left.

When walking down the train I noticed Fred and George Weasley heading right towards me,

"hello Y/N" Fred and George answered unitedly giving me a small but quick wink.

"hi boys, do you happen to know where the trolley is?" giving them a pleading look

"we just passed it, probably about 6 compartments down" they answered together again, George quickly stepped forward though leaning down to my ear

"I would hurry though we arrive at Hogwarts soon"

I thanked them giving a sheepish smile, I was slowly walking away overhearing the twins talk about their plan of setting fireworks off during O.W.L.s oh lord that would be chaotic I chuckled at the thought.

Seconds later I approach trolley.

After making my purchase I turned my head to say thank you but instead I felt a big push against my upper body quickly falling towards the floor,

Looking up I notice a tall guys with light yet dark brown hair and bright ocean eyes,

"watch where you're fucking going." his tone was sharp and cold, a shiver ran down my back.

I scoffed quickly "maybe you should watch where you're going" I reached down to pick up my sweets before standing up, rolling my eyes at him as he towered over me.

"whatever" he said in a low tone that was almost a mutter.

I ignored him as I walked back to my compartment on the train.

"woah what's going on with you?" Hermione sat up with a concerned look on her face,

"nothing... I just ran into a really rude guy in the way back" giving a 'i'm fine really' look

"was it Malfoy? I'll beat his ass" Harry urged, he looked ready for a fight but i quickly shut that down,

"no it wasn't, I actually don't know who it was but i'm alright seriously" They all looked at me questioning my reply, letting out a short sigh before glancing towards the window.

I twisted and turned in my seat noticing Hogwarts approaching in the distance, the twins weren't lying when they said we were close.

"I'm going to change into my robe"

"i'll come with you" Hermione jumped up grabbing our robes, handing me mine she gave me a quick warm smile.

"we'll be back, stay out of trouble. I'm looking at you Harry" Hermione laughed at my comment, we then walked down towards the loo to change.

I looked down at the dark green accents on my robe, I didn't mind being in Slytherin even though the majority of my friends were in Gryffindor,

I did some final touch ups in my makeup, quickly brushing dust of the snake crest feeling confident and proud in how I looked. I then joined Hermione in the hallway.

"we look ready for another year, hopefully with less trouble this time around" Hermione joked causing us both to burst out into laughter.

The train came to stop while we joined the rest of the students that were shuffling out towards the school,

Harry and Ron called out our names before joining us "you guys look out of breath what happened?" I glanced up and down their bodies as they shook with exhaustion.

"Ron lost the rat and we had to run around the whole train to find it" Harry huffed out each word gasping for air.

Hermione and I exchanged worried glances, my eyes then wandered towards a familiar pair

"thats him" Almost shrieking when I shoved Hermione arm pointing towards the boy from the trolley,

"hmm Theodore Nott, he's a pureblood Slytherin and from what i've heard not the nicest guy" Hermione replied with an uneasy look

"makes since for what happened to you today, I would stay away" Ron said laughing but quickly stopped when I gave him an annoyed look

My eyes met with Theodore's again something about him gave me the chills, the power behind his stare was definitely intimidating yet addicting I shook my thoughts away turning my attention towards the group

"I hate him already" I said while dragging the group towards Hogwarts,

"we are going to be late if we don't hurry" I sound impatient but i don't really care right not

"slow down!!" Harry yelled before jogging to catch up with my pace

We faced the entranced to Hogwarts, I took a deep breathe before entering Hogwarts for my fifth school year.
