How their friendship began

Obanai and Giyuu were awkwardly walking to the forest. None of them uttering a word.

Obanai- I think were almost there...

Giyuu- Ok

Giyuu- Why is your snake.. Sleeping on you?

Obanai- He's tired jackass?! Why else would he be sleeping?

Eventually they make it to the forest

Obanai- How about we split up and try finding the demon Emo?

Giyuu- I guess.

They go opposite directions and then Giyuu runs into the demon

Giyuu💭Not a strong one..

The demon tries to slash Giyuu but fails. Giyuu uses his breathing style and beheads the demon

Giyuu💭That was rather quick..

Giyuu watches the demon disintegrate and then heads to find Obanai.. A demon follows him from behind, waiting for a good moment to strike a hit

Obanai was standing in the exact spot they were before and was waiting for Giyuu

Obanai- I found 3 demons surprisingly enough.. They were in a group

Giyuu- I found 1

Obanai- Wow how useful..

Kaburamaru hisses at Giyuu in disappointment

Obanai- Even my snake is "impressed"

Giyuu- You know how to make jokes?

Obanai- Wow very funny.. Let's go to a hotel or something. It'll take too long to go back on foot.

Giyuu nods

They both start walking

Kaburamaru hisses uneasily

Then Obanai stops walking causing Giyuu to stop.

Obanai- There is a demon nearby

Giyuu- How do you know?

Obanai- My snake

Giyuu💭That's.. Weirdly useful..

The demon that was following Giyuu tries to hit him but gets hit instead by Obanai.

Both Giyuu and Obanai slide back looking at the demon. It had a dog head and a tree like body.

Obanai💭What an ugly demon.. Just like Giyuu

The demon uses it's blood demon art and charges at Giyuu, almost going through his haori but misses.

Giyuu💭Bad aim

Giyuu tries to get a hit on the demon and ends up slicing the demons arm.

Giyuu💭Sh!t

Then Giyuu tries to dodge the dog demon but got scratched on the face with the tree-dogs arms. Unknowingly, Obanai immediately slices the demons head off, before it could be called victory.

Obanai- You alright?

Giyuu- I'm fine.. Just a minor scratch nothing much..

Obanai- I have bandaids with me.. Want some?

Giyuu- S-sure?

Giyuu was honestly surprised by Obanai kindness but just accepted it.

Obanai gives Giyuu some Bandaids. Giyuu wraps them around his wound.

Giyuu- Why are you so kind all of a sudden?

Obanai- Am I not suppose to help my companion or something?

Giyuu- I felt like you would ignore it

Obanai- Why would I?

Giyuu- Let's just find a hotel now

They both try to find a hotel and sure enough, they find a village with a hotel.

Obanai- Let's head in shall we?

Giyuu just nods.

They both head in the hotel and check out a room. The homosexuals head to their room. Obanai sits on a bed and Giyuu just sits next to him for no reason.

Kaburamaru then slithered off Obanai's neck and onto the bed.

Obanai- So uhm..

Giyuu- Thanks for the bandaids.. I guess..

Obanai- Your welcome emo boy.. Say why do you ignore Kocho?

Giyuu- She's annoying

Obanai- Why not tell her to fuck off then?

Giyuu- ...

Giyuu- She's the only person who bothers to "talk" to me.. It's more like teasing actually..

Obanai- ...

Obanai- Is this one of the first times you actually talk to someone?

Giyuu- You could say..

Obanai- I know this is not something I would normally say but..

Obanai- Wanna.. Be friends..?

Giyuu's eyes widen. Obanai. The person who bullied him.. A person Giyuu hated.. Asked him to be his friend?!

Giyuu- S-sure..

Obanai smiles underneath his mask a little

Obanai- Alright then.. Keep it a secret though alright?

Giyuu nods still is shock.

Kaburamaru then slithered up Giyuu's arm unexpectedly, scaring Giyuu.

Giyuu- Why is your snake on my arm?!

Obanai- I think he likes you

Giyuu- What?!

Giyuu shakes as Kaburamaru casually slitheres up Giyuu's arm and onto his neck, getting comfortable. Obanai starts laughing

Giyuu- Your snakes doesn't bite yes?

Obanai- He.. Kinda does..??

Giyuu- Wait he does?

Obanai starts laughing.

Giyuu blushes in embarrassment. He was scared Kaburamaru was gonna bite him.

Then Kaburamaru looks at Giyuu and hisses at his face.

Obanai- Wow Giyuu.. Who knew you had a charm for snakes?

Giyuu- Yeah I didn't know either..

Obanai- Kaburamaru! Come on.. Get off of the emo boy and sleep on the pillow.

Obanai pats on the pillow and Kaburamaru slithered down Giyuu's neck, down his arm then to the pillow and fell asleep.

Giyuu- I'll be sleeping..

Obanai- Okay

After that, Giyuu and Obanai get ready to sleep. Giyuu goes to his bed and Obanai sleeps on the bed Kaburamaru was on. When Giyuu fell asleep, Obanai checked if he was asleep.

Obanai then takes off his mask and hopes he wakes up earlier than Giyuu so he wouldn't see his hideous scar.
