Chapter 7

"Yuki you haven't taken on a mission in over a month, how have the higher ups not threatened to suspend you?" Choso asked "You too [Name], it's been like three weeks" Choso sighed the trio hanging out in the gym, not really playing any sports but just passing the ball to eachother while they played "Back and forth" by Aaliyah in the background

"I can't lie, I think they gave up" Yuki shrugged

"but I'm gonna take the next mission they give me because I need some pocket money" You yawned

As if he'd been listening the whole time, Yaga burst through the door which was never a good sign

"I've been looking for you two everywhere" the brunette sighed as you all turned to look at him yuki tempted to throw the ball at his face but Choso used blood manipulation to snatch it off of her

"Choso, [Name], I have a mission for you" You're teacher stated, yuki letting out a fake offended gasp

"what about me??" She frowned
"You wouldn't even do it" Yaga sighed, Yuki shrugging and helping herself up
"That's true, see you guys" she grinned waving goodbye

"The mission is simple,there are two cursed users that have been disguising themselves as teachers in a highschool in Kyoto and using this as a way to traffic children. Their cursed techniques aren't too dangerous, but is close to a grade one sorcerer's level" Yaga stated as you and Choso wore the same disgusted look apon hearing their crimes

"You'll attack after every student has evacuated the premises, try and look for any students that are being held captive or about to be transported, out window will handle the rest" Their teacher finished as they gave him a nod

"See ya yuki" You said giving her a kiss on the cheek to which she returned, Choso tying his hair up while the two of you boarded your bullet train

"Do you wanna check out Kyoto afterwards?" Choso said breaking the comfortable silence the two of you had shared, a huge grin appearing on your face
"Sure, I heard there's this really cute aquarium there aswell, we should check it out" you smiled

"Do you think they'll have jelly fish?" Choso asked "they have to! Or else it would be a waste of money" you huffed, resting your head on chosos shoulder noticing his breath quicken

"This place is so creepy" you shuddered as you and Choso made your way through the school looking for the two perpetrators
"We won't have the chance to save any students if we carry ok like this, you can cover the hall and I'll cover the main building" You sighed turning to Choso

"Are you sure you'll be fine ok your own?" Choso frowned "I'll be fine Choso, make sure to call me if anything goes wrong" you winked, leaving the hall and making your way out

Choso walked through the desolate hallways of the school with two things on his mind, save those children and you.
"I wonder what she's doing right now.." Choso hummed as he opened the door to the hall, you were strong though, so you'd be fine, it was one of the many things he lived about you. But once he was done he'd still come looking for you

Chosos eyes scanned the hall to find three young girls hiding behind a bad of basket balls and weeping while their "teacher' lay on the stage

"Are you a jujutsu sorcerer? Jeez can't you guys give up? Your so annoying" the young male sneered as he took out a chain mace swinging it at Choso who dodged as closed the gap, verifying this man was not good at close range

Choso swiftly used slicing exorcism to get rid of the cursed users right arm, which he used to hold his weapon, not giving the man enough time to activate whatever his technique was. Choso began to brutally beat the man, a mix of his spit and saliva coming out as Choso kicking him into a nearby wall
