Notti and ke'rani laid up on his bed watching tangled together, she hadn't went back to her dad's house since the whole incident with jeraine and honestly.. she was happy with how things were going right now
She heared jaileen and jeraine was supposedly 'looking for her' but she knew that was a lie, because she was never too many places and jeraine knew where to find her. Word got around that her and jeraine fought and dd was being overly dramatic at that point
She hadn't heard from her mom yet which made her worry alot, she called her everyday now that she was in new york but surprisingly there was no call from her today or the day before
"Eth, i think there's something wrong wit' My ma"she stressed sending multiple texts but none went through, she even checked her socials seeing nothing on them that were recent
"You overthinking it nini, she probably had something to do"he reassured her wrapping his arm around her pulling her into his chest letting her take in his scent, she felt weak at the smell of weed and cologne which was how he always smelled but everytime she was near him it smelled way different than the last
"You smell good right now.."she mumbled snuggling into him letting his hand slip down her back, she could hear his full heart beat from the way she was laying since she was closer to his chest now. She planted kisses along his collarbone and jawline while holding his hand gently, she was surprised he didn't move her away or push her off like he always did when she showed him any type of affection
She then whispered goodnight to him before getting up and walking to mama love's room deciding to sleep in her room for the night since she respected her rules, she had grown a close bond with his mom over the years due to her mother working with her at one point before they moved to chicago when her parents divorced
She could go and talk to her about anything and she would listen, she understood her which was something her mother never did or tried to do. She just showed her 'love' by invalidating her feelings and that was something she hated about her mom.
It was like she wasn't allowed to express herself or have any feelings at all, she got on the bed laying beside her getting comfortable before closing her eyes drifting off to sleep
The next day came fast and notti woke her up more energetic and excited than usual, he didn't tell her why he was acting this way which made her suspicious of him
They were now pulling up to the mall pulling into the parking lot before he parked and turned the car off. "Don't ask no questions, just come on"he ordered getting out of the car going to her side and opening the door for her letting her hop out of the car
"Why we here?"she questioned completely ignoring the fact that he told her not to ask any questions, he smacked his lips closing her door and grabbing her hand beginning to walk her towards the mall entrance, he walked her towards the telfar store first. She looked at him in shock wondering if he was actually about to spend his money on her
"Go get Whateva' You want nini. And stop looking at me like that.."he spoke softly chuckling at her facial expression, she didn't expect for him to do all this considering the fact it was notti we were talking about. The boy who wouldn't buy a girl a 50 cent pack of gum if she asked. "Bae i can get anything i want?? Really?!"she exclaimed smiling dopily showing her teal blue braces. "I love you wit' Allllll my heart ethannnn"she dragged hugging him tightly making him smile a bit
She never really received gifts or nice things from anybody, let alone the person she was 'dating'. It was a rare occurrence if she ever saw a gift from anyone. Even her parents, well mostly because they made her feel like she was asking for too much when she never liked expensive things at all. She loved anything she got as long as it was cute
It seemed like they spent an eternity inside that store because by the time they got out it was starting to get late, he decided to buy her food since that was what she wanted. Chick-fil-A specifically since she wanted to try the new sandwich + drink
"Can't wait to get my food all over yo car"she cheesed resting her hand on his lap as he continued focusing on the road, she sighed focusing on his side profile realizing how good he looked at that moment. His jawline was perfect just like him. "Nini, what's yo obsession wit' Fuckin up my car?"he asked pulling into the drive thru
"I'm just marking my territory, shouldn't no bitch be in yo car eating besides me."she stated kicking her bare feet up on the dash as she took multiple pictures on his phone. As soon as be was done ordering her food they pulled up to the window so he could pay and get the food
"Bro ethan. Stop fuckin eating my fries!"she whined trying to take the bag but he turned away so she wouldn't be able to take the bag away from him. "But i let you eat my fries"he argued handing her the bag of food causing her to snatch it from him
"That's different, you don't get to eat my stuf without asking."she retorted taking her sandwich out of the back unwrapping it before taking a bit out of it letting sauce drip onto her lap and the seat, she looked down shocked seeing the mess she had made. "Imma get that up i promisee"she dragged seeing the irritated look on his face but he couldn't really be mad, she did this all the time.
He shook his head watching her stuff fries into her mouth while she danced in her seat showing she was enjoying her food. "You mad childish nini"he mumbled continuing to watch her stuff her food in her mouth. It was scary how comfortable she was with him and she never found anything she did infront of him embarrssing, she felt comfortable enough to eat infront of him, cry infront of him, vent to him etc. he was just her person
