She was currently shopping for notti's birthday gifts since his birthday was a week away, she had already got him most of the stuff he wanted on christmas so there wasn't much she needed to buy
She hummed skimming through the aisle looking at onesies for eliah since she didn't have any at the moment and she would need one when she left the hospital, she was around three months now and her bump was a lot more visible now
Surprisingly she could still fit all of her clothes which was a miracle, her phone rang lightly signaling someone was calling her. She expected it to be notti since he blew her phone up daily
She checked seeing maryia's name come up on her screen making her mentally curse herself, her and maryia weren't on the best terms since the christmas party they had, she found it weird she sat there in dd's face after he openly confessed he didn't want anything to do with his baby
And maryia continued being cuddly with him after he admitted that so she distanced herself from the both of them, not because of jeraine but the fact it involved an innocent baby and the baby was her niece
Even notti distanced himself from dd after that, maybe because he took being a father seriously and he expected the same from his older brother, they all knew dd didn't want the baby because he despised jeraine and maryia did too, and it was beyond weird to them
She contemplated on answering for a second before sliding over and accepting the call. "Hello?"she called waiting for an answer while tapping her foot impatiently. "Yea hello? Nini come to sephora with me and ceecee real quick"maryia answered in a pleading voice
She truly missed her best friend and didn't think she'd actually be effected by her decision to still mess with dd after what he said, she felt like it wasn't really her problem he didn't want to be there for his child, although she didn't like it the baby wasn't hers to be concerned about
So it confused her that ke'rani cared since the baby wasn't hers either. "I gotta think about it, ethan expecting me to be back with his snacks and stuff"she used the quickest excuse she could make at the time since she knew nothing else would work since they were already in the mall
