A woman holds her baby frightenedly.

"Fergus!" she whispers. "Is the basket ready?"

"Yes, Hedwig, bring the baby!" the man whispers back.

Carefully, the woman lays the baby in the basket. "Keep her?" the woman asks.

"As long as we can," the man says.

The woman looks at the sleeping baby. "Keep her," she says.

"It may be dangerous," the man warns.

"It will be dangerous," corrects the woman. "But we must. She's ours. And it's our duty."

The man picks up the bags. "We haven't a moment to lose, then," he says. "Come!"

They run as fast as they can away from the place.

The woman holds the basket as they leave the place far behind them. They board a train to a place far, far away.

"I swear on the moon I will protect you," the woman vows.

She holds the babe as the chug chug chug of the train carries them toward the silvery orb in the sky.

Hey, guys!

Thanks for reading. It will be kind of hard to update, but I'll do my best! I would like help with something; what timeline should this be? Like, cars and stuff? Medieval? WWII? Modern?

Later: I got it (:
