Chapter 4: Meet Again

Since there was no work for the day, and Sir Joo was asleep, I decided to go to a cafe real quick and grap a latte

I walked to the cafe near the penthouse, opening the glass door to the crowded area

After waiting in line, it was my turn

"I could I get a caramel la-" I said, but got cut off when I saw the cashier

"Kim Dan!?"

Joo Jaekyung's POV:

I woke up from my sleep, going out of my room, but why isn't Kim Dan anywhere

'Where the hell is he...' I muttered to myself

I saw a small sticky note on the fridge

"I'll be out real quick!"

The note said, it was definitely Kim Dan because of the hand writing

I wonder where he went...

Kim Dan's POV:

"Dong-gyun!?" My face lit up as I smiled, it was such a long time ever since I last saw him in high school

I went out of the line, since I lost interest in my latte now that I met my friend from highschool again

"Where's Chanwoo?"

I asked, Dong-gyun also went out of the counter cause it was now Dong-gyun and Chanwoo's break time

"He's in the back but, it's our break time now. I'll go call him real quick"

He smiles before going to the back and bring Chanwoo out

"Danniee!?"

Chanwoo rushed over to me and hugs me tightly

"H-hey!"

I hugged back as Dong-gyun joined the hug

"How are you guys?"

I asked, looking at both of them

"Doing great! Jiwon is the best I could ask for~"

DG said as he blushed

"And Myung-dae has been doing the you know~ alot these days"

Chanwoo also blushes, I sigh softly before talking again "It hurts to be a fifth wheeler-" I chuckled

"Girl, how is Jaekyung treating you?"

Chanwoo asks

"Oh, you do not wanna know" I said sarcastically

"You really have to find yourself a better man"

DG said, resting his cheek on his palm as we sit down in one of the tables, Chanwoo nodded and agreed

After 1 hour of catching up with my friends, I decided it was time to go back to the penthouse

"I've got to get going now, see you guys soon!" I smiled brightly to them as I stood up

"Perfect timing! Our break time just ended, see you around, Kim Dan!"

DG said before we all said our goodbyes

Joo Jaekyung's POV:

The door opener as I was watching TV

"Where have you been"

I said coldly, still looking at the TV screen

"I-i w-went to Cafe T.K"

He answered softly, putting back his jacket on the coat hanger, was it just me or his hair was getting longer?

Kim Dan's POV:

My hair got into my eyes, poking it softly, I closed my eyes before fixing it and putting it to the side. God, I really need to cut my hair, it's getting a bit long now

the next day

Once again, I was studying at around 2:30 AM because I couldn't sleep.

Suddenly, I get a message from one of my closest friends from middle school to high school, and it was him

Kesok:
I see that ur still active, can't sleep?

Kim Dan:
Yep, so I'm studying my notes again

K

esok:
Me neither, but, studying again? Take a break for once..

Kim Dan:
I can't, I've been opening this notebook every night :((

Kesok:
Get some sleep, you need it especially as a physiotherapist

Kim Dan:
I've been having some troubles sleeping these nights, any tips??

Kesok:
Try taking melatonin gummies, but not too much, I've been doing it and it really works

Kim Dan:
Sure, I'll try them out, thanks for your help hyung! <3

I closed my phone after texting him, closing my notebook and laying down...
