My phone rung and I groaned grabbing it off my nightstand and answering it.
"Hello?"
I said with my head buried in my pillow.
"Aniah, Where are you at?"
"Huh?"
"If you can huh you can hear. I said, Where are you? Your school called saying you were absent."
I sat up looking at my phone's time and I was 2 hours late to school.
"Ma I just need a day-"
"Get up and go to school now!"
*Beep, Beep, Beep*
I yelled into my pillow and rolled over to get out of bed.

It was getting cold out here in Michigan so I need double layers today because it was dropping below 50 degrees and it was windy. When I was ready to go out the door I texted my mom to see if she can send an Uber, she fussed but she wanted me to go to school so she was gonna pay for it. I grabbed me some Chobani yogurt and headed outside to my Uber. I got to school and checked in before heading to my least favorite class, Gym. I had to go change into my gym clothes. When I was done the coach called all of us to line up.
