I wake in the golden hour of the morning and feel the radiant sun looming over me, the curtains were open and I watch the sunrise with Fred's arm tucked over me.
I smile as I shift my position and caress Fred's sleeping face, he was laughing even when he was unconscious the ghost of a smile lingered on his face.
I trace the valleys of his face with my finger lingering on the small star shaped scar beneath his eye. I follow the line of his lips and lightly touch his fluttering eyes, he was perfect to me. To even think that a few years ago I hated this face.
I watch as roses bloom on his skin as he wakes his eyes fluttering open those brown eyes gazing at me, the sun caused them to look like honey.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" I ask him.
"No, I woke up like a half hour ago," he admits, his voice husky and low.
"Fredrick Weasley, were you taking advantage of me?" I scold playfully.
"Of course love, always," a grin appears on his face.
"I love you," I chuckle and kiss the tip of his nose before I say: "I'm going to see off my brother at Kings Cross, do you want to come with me?"
"No, you go, I have to stay here with George, we have a big shipment of doxy eggs coming in," he sighs and starts to sit up but I pull his arm down and he collapses laying back down with me.
"Just, just lay with me for a moment, it feels perfect right now," I ask him and feel his hand brush away my hair from my face. I close my eyes from the sensation of his touch on my skin and he kisses my eyelids softly.
When I open my eyes he's close and I don't resist the temptation to lean my forehead on his.
The sun was growing warmer as it rose higher into the sky and Fred and I basked in the heat together.
"I wish this could be forever," I sigh in a small voice.
"Love, you're not getting rid of me that quickly," Fred laughs and kisses my nose.
"That's not what I meant, I meant this moment, I want it to last forever," I correct myself.
"It will," Fred says leaning a bit farther from me so I can see him clearly. "It'll last forever in here."
He places his hand on my heart-except its on the wrong side.
"Love, I hate to ruin the mood but my heart is on the other side," I bite my lip to keep from laughing.
"I knew that-it'll last here-" he moves his hand over to the left and I can't help but burst out laughing despite how hard I try to maintain a serious face.
Luckily he joins in and says: "I give up on this romantic rubbish."
"You gave it a good try Freddie!" I say when he launches himself over to me and begins to tickle me mercilessly he doesn't stop until tears form in my eyes and I'm no longer laughing but croaking out from a cramped stomach.Just as I had when I first arrived at Kings Cross station on the first of September the year I turned eleven I push myself through the barrier between 9 ¾.
Immediately I begin to search for Draco in the steam, I spy him standing with Pansy Parkinson, Cecile, and the rest of his friends. I begin to make my way over to him.
"Abby!" Cecile says and hugs me with one arm.
"Hey, Draco can I talk to you," I looked past her to my brother, he looked so much older than he should at his age. He nodded and I let go of Cecile and walked to the side of the station, he follows me.
"What do you want Abby?" He asks me, sighing.
"How are you Draco, are you going to be okay?" I ask quietly.
"I'm fine, now what do you want," He says rather aggressively for no reason except that he's hurting and I can see right through his cold attitude.
"You can turn back now Draco, you can come with me. I know you don't want this," I say softly caressing his cheek. "Draco you can leave, we can go somewhere else, we can get protection."
"Stop trying to protect me! I don't need your help Abby! I can handle myself, if you want to leave then do it but don't expect me to follow you!" He argues.
"Draco-I'm just trying-"
"To take my glory, thats what you're doing, I'm going to be his right hand man not you!" He growls.
"What's gotten into you? You weren't like this the last time I saw you...." I say astonished at his behavior.
"So what if I wasn't like this? People change, I know what I want, now that dads gone I'm going to replace him, and you can't stop me," Draco glares at me. "Go be with your blood traitor boyfriend, I'm sure he enjoys your company far more than I do."
"Draco-" But he's gone, he leaves me standing in the crowded station feeling more alone and helpless than I have ever been.
