Chapter 7- ending it

I was soon slowly shook awake by someone this morning. I didn't sleep very well again. Stupid David. He kept haunting my dreams all night. I open an eye and see mum standing there with a smile on her face. I smile back. After yesterday I'm going to trust her and be nice. I'll act happily around her. I'll be the best son ever. 

"Morning darling." She says. 

"Hey mum." I said back.  

"Lets get you dressed and ready for school now. Breakfast is ready when you come down." She tells me then leaves the room. I get up and wince in pain. Mother mofo that hurt a lot. I take a shower (with great struggle because of the cast around my arm), change and go downstairs for breakfast. There's a bowl of rice crispies on the table for me and a glass of orange juice. Yummy.  

I scoff it down and then thank mum. By that time there's a knock at the door and I can tell it was Liam. Mum hands me my school bag then I'm out the door.  

"Hey Li!" I say very chirpy. 

"Hey Ni!" He copies back. "How ya doing?"  

"I'm a bit tired but good. What about you?" He frowned a bit when I said I was tired. 

"I'm good thanks....Why are you tired?" I ain't gonna tell no one about what happening. 

"Went to bed later than normal." I shrug.  

"Okay then. So was it nice meeting your family?" I smile. 

"Yeah it was great! I can't believe I lived in the same town as them for years but never noticed them."  

"That's a bit strange."  

"Oh well." We soon arrive at school and go to tutor. The other boys sent in our class so it's just me and him. 

"Glad to see your back, Niall." Mr Davidson greets. 

"Glad to be here sir." Hahaha not. 

"There's a few rumors going around saying something about what happened. Do you think you could tell me what did happen to you?" 

"What's the rumour?" 

"Apparently you got beat up by your parents. And they tried to kill you but the police came and you blacked out, ending up in hospital." 

"Well first bit, turns out they weren't my mum and dad but yeah I did get beat up by them for 10 years. But they just tried to drown me and kill me, but like the rumour says, the police did come and found me nearly dead. Oh what joy." Mr Davidson looked sympathetic. 

"I'm sorry. I hope your. I'll sort this rumour out for you." He said and I smiled at him. 

"Thanks sir." I said and walked away to sit with Liam. He was chatting to a few people. Ugh...more people. 

"Hey again Liam and people." I say. Li smiles at me and the other boys say hello. 

"Meet Jack, Alex, Kobe and CJ." Liam said pointing to each boy. Jack was a tall lanky person who looked a lot like a nerd. Alex was quite tall as well but was ginger and had freckles. Kobe was smaller than me with fluffy light brown hair and weird greeny blue eyes. Finally CJ was average hight with dark brown hair and blue eyes.  

"Hi." 

"Is it true that you were nearly killed by your parents?" Alex suddenly blurts. The boys gave him a 'Wtf?' Look and he just shrugs. 

"I was nearly killed yea, but the people who did it weren't my parents. Apparently I was kidnapped at 3 by some crazy ass people who I thought were my mum and dad." I explain.
