It's been a year since Zim disappeared again. Is it because he has a new plan in mind? Or did something else happen? But nothing came out. In the end, at some point, Dib just began to go through school in the past of his enemy's house, checking to see if he showed up on the doorstep.
This went on day after day, until at some point the door was open. Noticing this from afar, Dib rushed to Zim's house, smiling and almost jumping for joy. It was like he was twelve again, like he had a chance to prove to everyone that he was right again. But once at the door, the paranormal researcher suddenly froze and thought. Does he need to prove something? He can only protect the Earth, because all people are too stupid to take the threat seriously. Maybe it's still worth taking everything on himself? Maybe if he take his time and collect enough information, then the scientists and the father will still believe? With these thoughts, Dib opened the door a little wider, from which a terrible smell hit his nose. Is the invader finally dead? The smell was exactly what it was. But before drawing conclusions, you need to check everything inside. Dib slowly walked into the living room, stepping on the rustling snack boxes and covering his nose with his collar. The closer Dib got to the rubbish-strewn couch, the stronger the smell got. In the end, the guy stopped and slowly stuck his hand into a pile of garbage, trying to find the source of the smell. The invader uniform is recognizable to the touch. It was what Dib found under the packages and cans. As soon as the researcher touched what was believed to be Zim, he stirred and let out a long grunt, wrapping himself more tightly in a cocoon of trash.
- Zim! - Dib yelled, raking the rubbish with his hands. - You won't fool me with the same technique, I'm not stupid!
Finally, in the darkness of the room, two empty crimson eyes of the alien flashed, which immediately narrowed his eyes to see the person in front of him.
- Dib-thing.... You're stopping me from decomposing... - Zim muttered, placing his hand on Dib's face to push him away from him. - I'm not trying anything. Get lost.
- No, I'm not going to just leave you to carry out your plan! - Dib pulled the alien off the couch by the hand.
A new wave of smell, but such that the eyes begin to water. Zim seems to be really rotting. What a horror, he would not have allowed himself this if his disappearance was another plan.
- What the hell?! - Dib shouted, dropping the invader from his hands, then covered his nose with both hands.
Zim didn't answer. He just made some exhausted sounds again, lying on the floor.
- OK. - Dib continued. - Since you're not going to kill me or something, I'll... I'll probably drag you home and open you up there. - This is impossible to do it here. Well, stink ... What have you been doing all this time? And where is your robo-assistant?
- Gi-ir? - the alien drawled, baring his teeth. - He is probably off. I haven't seen him for... Several months. The same with Minimoose. Come on. Kill me. - Zim dramatically put his wrist to his forehead and continued to speak, straining. - Rip my stomach! Get the organs and rejoice in your victory, human! After all, it doesn't have a point anymore.
There was an awkward silence. Dib didn't even know what to say. So much time has passed, so many plans have been thought out, but now nothing came to mind. From thoughts only white noise. Okay. He need to take the first step towards his true victory. That first step was to take Zim in his arms. Dib managed this with difficulty, because Zim gained weight during this time. It was also the source of the stench. An added inconvenience was that his skin flaked off like a lizard, making Dib sick. But he can't give up. He need to bring his research object home
The skool can wait. Dib was simply delighted that Zim was right in front of him, helpless and ready to say goodbye to life. Nothing can stop Dib from getting all the information. Biology, psychology, physiology, oh how Dib looked forward to it all. He literally ran back home, holding an alien in his arms. Everyone on the street didn't care, as usual. Just a guy is running with a green humanoid creature in his arms, nothing special. The smile did not leave Dib's face all the way, and when he reached the house. Apparently no one was at home. Gaz is at skool, the professor is at work, no one can interfere. Dib entered the house, kicking the door shut behind him, and headed upstairs to his room, clutching the heavy green body to him. The researcher no longer cared about the smell, the fact that the clothes were all covered with scraps of skin and some kind of liquid, the main thing was to convey. Dib carried Zim into his room and casually tossed him onto the bed, then dusted off his soiled shirt, which didn't help much. The first step is to wash and change Zim's clothes, otherwise the stench is unbearable. Dib can probably leave him alone in the room, he still won't run away, so Dib quickly headed back downstairs to go into the bathroom and find something to get rid of the smell. Surprisingly, both of them were silent all the way, and now, because both Dib and Zim are very fond of exchanging phrases, especially offensive ones. But not at this time. Everything seemed unreal and wrong. At least that's how Dib felt. Zim didn't seem to feel anything anymore
