I've never thought much of reading them aloud,

Each word and individual letter,
each line and

rd represent a drumroll, a breeze, a cerulean blue
whisper along the back of my

n
e
that sneaks up out my ears and pools d o w n in my finger-
tips.
The rolling thoughts that crash on my paper in a splatter of ink cannot be spoken,
otherwise,
the poem is the poem is pre-written,
and copy
copy
copy-catting
isn't my style.
