Chapter 17

Minho POV - I just finished getting patched up. I am currently laying on one of the beds in the Med Jacks hut because I am not aloud to leave for the night.

Minho - I am so bored! *I sighed*

Newt - Not my problem!

Minho - Shut it shuck face! It is your problem because you are the only one in here to keep my company!

Newt - Brooke will come visit you soon enough. *he smirked*

Minho - *I rolled my eyes* Where is she anyway?

Newt - I think she went to have a shower.

Minho - Ah, and no one bothered to tell me? *I smirked*

Newt - You are such a slinthead!

I laughed and shifted my position on the bed.

Minho - I'm only kidding! Jeez! I can't have any fun?

Newt - No! You should be resting.

Minho - I can do what I want, I am a keeper you know!

Newt - And I am Second in Command, I can kick you out of that position at anytime you know.

Minho - You little bitc--

Suddenly I heard the door slowly open and a head popped in...

Brooke - Hey! *she smiled*

Newt/Minho - Hey!

Newt - Well I think I'll see you guys later. I'll give you two some space.

Minho - Best idea I've heard come from your shuck mouth!

I felt a slap in my arm and looked up and saw Brooke.

Minho - Ow! That hurt!

Brooke - Stop being mean to Newt!

Newt - You guys are adorable! *he laughed*

Brooke - NEWT!

he laughed then shut the door. Brooke then pulled a chair up next to my bed and sat in it.

Minho - So you miss me? *I smirked*

She kept her head down, she looked like she was on the verge of tears.

Minho - Brooke? I'm sorry I didn't mean to --

Brooke - It's not you Minho.

She looked up and slightly smiled.

Minho - Come here. * I smiled*

I opened my arms up for a hug and she crawled into my lap and I embraced her. She put her head in the crook of my shoulder while I leaned my head on top of hers.

Minho - Is it Lucy?

Brooke - Yeah, I can't get her out of my mind Minho! I don't know what to do!

Minho - Lucy is going to wake up sooner than you know it.

Brooke - You really think so?

She looked up at me and I looked directly into her eyes.

Minho - I know so.

She smiled and squeezed me tightly.

Brooke - Thank you Minho!

Minho - Anything for my sass queen!

She giggled and I smirked looking down at her.

Minho - Why don't we go out for some air huh?

Brooke - I thought you were bed ridden?

Minho - I am but I think a short walk won't hurt.

Brooke - Minho? *she put her hands on her hips*

Minho - C'mon! It will be fun!

She rolled her eyes.

I got up off the the bed and grabbed her arm.

Brooke - Where are we going?

Minho - You'll see! *I smirked*

I pulled her out the door and went out of the Med Jacks hut towards the star lit glade.
