Chapter Fourteen

Poor Kendra ....her palm now moist from sweat, she wipe it on her jeans trying all she can to avoid Andre's gaze

Andre sat there just staring at her, obviously enjoying how nervous he made her. Anyways miss Jonah the only vacancy here in my company is that

of a personal assistant so I don't really need that ..he said pointing to her CV and other file she was hugging.

But sir that's is not the position I applied for I applied for an automobile designer... personal assistant? No that's uhmm not my style.

Kendra hand flew to her mouth the moment she realized how rude she sounded. Andre stare at her irritated for a millisecond but

lowering his gaze he muttered something to himself then look up at her again. Either you take this position miss Jonah or just come back

when we have an open space somewhere else. With this he turn to his laptop away from Kendra.

Kendra mind went back to her early conversation with her landlord before entering the company and fear grip her.

She can't disappoint him again or it would be bye apartment for her..
Slowly without letting her thoughts roam far. She bit down on her lower lips

I will take the Job she said her eyes glazing with tears.
Andre saw the tears in her eyes but honestly right now he don't really care.

He just want that space taken to help him get over Lillian so he did what he knows how to do best .. pretend like he didn't see her teary eyes.

The room was silent only the clicking sounds of keyboard could be heard. Kendra kept her gazed on her silver sandals not even looking up once.

Your job starts tomorrow be here before 8 and be out once it's 10pm. I won't tolerate any form of lateness,
I will ask  that the other instructions be sent to you so drop you email address

and phone number at the reception.
Andre said in one breath. That's all he concluded.

So i will be working 8-10 .. Kendra asked in disbelief. Yes miss Jonah do you have any problem with that he said almost immediately sounding so intimidating

no I don't Kendra swallowed before rising to her feet. I will take my leave she said in a small voice.

Mmmm Andre nod motioning her to leave.
Kendra walk quickly to the elevator not saying another word

Wait.... The voice made her stuck to one spot.. I won't tolerate an improper dress code either Andre said smirking.

Kendra stare at him then gave him an awkward smile before saying...I will remember that.
