The next morning Prince Lucerys and Jacaerys, Queen Rhaenyra and Maegora gathered on the balcony and prepared for Lucerys' flight. Maegora's aunt had thankfully agreed to let Jacaerys stay on Dragonstone, knowing that her niece and Visenya needed love and support now that Maegora's labour was only just two days ago.

Queen Rhaenyra stared down, with letters in hand, Queen Maegora standing beside her as Jacaerys and Lucerys walked up to them.

"It's been said that as Targaryens, we are closer to Gods than to men," Rhaenyra spoke after turning to her sons, her eyes down as she shook her head a bit. "And the Iron Throne puts us a touch closer, perhaps. But if we are to serve the Seven Kingdoms... we must answer to their Gods." Rhaenyra looking at her brown haired sons. "If you take this errand, you go as messengers... not as warriors. You must take no part in any fighting."

A Knight walked towards them with the Book of the Seven.

"Swear it to me now under the eyes of the Seven." Queen Rhaenyra said somewhat sternly as the book was placed between them.

"I swear it." Lucerys was the first to put his hand on the book followed by Jacaerys. "I swear it." The Prince of Dragonstone spoke licking his lips before the book was taken away as the silver haired woman murmured her thanks.
