Early morning hours above the school which rias akeno and Issei attend a lone figure can be seen floating above the top of the school

The figure is revealed to be Nathan of whom is meditating above the very top of the school

Nathan then senses people walking onto the school grounds

Nathan:Seems they are arriving to the school...

Suddenly a voice begins to speak in Nathan's Mind

???? (Mind):I don't know who you are but can you come down?

Nathan then looks down to see one person staring directly up at him

Seeing who it is Nathan floats down to the ground which he is then face to face with Sona sitri

Nathan:So we meet face to face Sona Soutri or should i say Sitri

Sona:how exactly do you know me especially when you are a human

Nathan:that is for you to figure out but I will say this I am here to challenge you to a game of chess

Sona narrows her eyes at Nathan

Sona:So you wish to challenge me do you?

Nathan nods his head as to say yes

Sona:Very well follow me if you will

The two enter the school building where Sona leads Nathan to the student council office

Entering the room the rest of the council stare at the unknown Individual entering with the council president Sona

???? 1:Sona who is he?

Sona:he is someone who wishes to face me in chess

???? 3:Does he even stand a chance against you?

Nathan:There's a saying I'm sure all of us know but never judge a book by it's cover for while I may not look much I could very well give Sona the match she's been searching for in a game of chess

The council students all nod at what Nathan said

Sona and Nathan then sit at the chess table which Nathan is using the black pieces and Sona the white pieces

Nathan:You may have the first move Ms Sitri

Sona hums before moving her first piece

The two go back and forth taking each other's pieces

However as the match is going on Nathan points two fingers at a window and fires a invisible ki blast which phases through the window and hits a bird perched in a tree

Sona:Why did you point your fingers at a window for?

Nathan:just took care of something or rather a specific fire bird familiar that's been observing a certain red head of the academy also checkmate

Nathan says while puting the correct piece in the correct spot

Sona's jaw drops as she sees that she has been beating in chess

Standing up from the chair Nathan stretches

Nathan:Welp the match was a fun one Sona I'll see you another time

Walking to the window Nathan opens the window which he then flys out the window shocking everyone in the room

Sona:He...he actually... beat me in chess....how?

Sona stares absentmindedly at the chess board trying to figure out how she was beaten in a game she knows so much about
