Grace sat in Burke and Cristian apartment. She sat next to Derek who talked her into having dinner there as well as James and Meredith who were there. Grace glanced to Derek as the two of them held a look
"You do realise that you owe me mine blowing sex for this" grace said as he smirked
"Pick which one I'd rather be doing" he said as he gripped her knee. His hand sliding up her thigh
Cristina is up on the counter eating cereal while the rest are at the table with good food and wine. Grace glanced towards Cristina and then to Meredith as the two grey sisters held a look
"Meredith, would you like seconds?" Burke asked
" I'm great. Maybe Cristina would like some. Cristina would you like some?" Meredith said
"I only made dinner for 5." He said
" You just said there was seconds." James said
"This is...awkward." Derek said as grace nodded
"You know, we could go, and you two could talk." Grace said. She knew that she just wanted to get out of there
"We're talking." Cristian said
"To each other. You're enjoying your meal at the international house of silence? Burke, you have to feed Cristina. She doesn't cook and she will starve." Meredith said
"I've got cereal!" Cristian said
"You two live together. Someone has to be the first to speak." Meredith said
"I am giving a dinner party. If she wants to sit there she can sit there. Let's just enjoy our evening and talk about something else." Burke said
"I heard a crazy rumor today from one of the scrub nurses that Richard was retiring." Derek said
"It's an interesting rumor." Burke said as Cristina snorts in disbelief
"What? It's true? Richard's going to name a new chief of surgery?" Derek asked as grace head perked at the news
"He asked Burke. But Burke took himself out of the running which apparently is my fault for being part of the team." Cristina said
"He asked you?" Derek asked
"Oh boy" Grace said as she noticed her boyfriends annoyance
"Who wants desert?" Burke asked

Grace stood in her bedroom with Derek as they stood getting ready for bed. She stood in the doorway and looked to Derek as she brushed her teeth
"It's weird there not talking at all" Grace said
"He said that when he retired I would become Chief. No, no. He asks Burke." Derek said
"Have you seen Bella anywhere. I mean she might actually listen to a thing I say" Grace said as she noticed how Derek was listening at all
"He said "Shep you're my man". Not Burke." Derek said not listening to Grace as she walked over to the bed
"I may just have sex with bella. At least she listens" Grace said
