Silence

The silence is too loud, two individuals can only stare at each other across in absolute silence with different thought in mind

Does he think I'm suspicious? The girl doubt herself, even go as far as mentally scolding herself for opening the gate without permission, she's too excited she forgets for a moment

The boy on the other hand is just bewildered and immersed at the beauty in front of him

He never felt so, relax, as if the girl's mere presence has the ability to calm anyone in her radius

He didn't even know what to feel at this moment but all he can do is bask on her strange calm presence, letting his stress slowly fading away in thin air

There was a comfortable silence as the girl stare at him, realizing that her skill 'Calm Sensation' is working on the boy

Poor Kai. He must have been stressed at the kidnapping of his little sister, I don't blame him, if Jay was kidnapped I might become as stressed as him

Irene shook her head mentally, deciding to snapped the boy out of his spacing out

"Um...may I know your name?" Irene asked, bringing Kai back to reality

"Kai, Kai Smith" Kai immediately answers, staring at the look of sympathy in the eyes of the girl in front of him which causes him to blink at the sudden look

"Hi again Kai! I was hoping if...I could talk to the householder of this monastery?" Irene asked

Kai blink then he snapped himself by shaking his head as he was still half spacing out. Then a smug smirk appear on his face at the realization that a girl is in front of him

A beauty at that

So with a pose that he thought is cool and badass, he smirked, winking

"Why gorgeous?"

Irene internally smiles in the inside, noticing that the casual and usual Kai is back to his characteristics, subconsciously ignoring the name the boy just called her

"I have something to ask of them" Irene said, smiling brightly as she thought of meeting the team

Kai nodded, winking in a flirtatious way then gesturing for her to follow him with a wave in the hand, in which she obligated following him from behind

As they walked towards the double door, Irene couldn't help but look around and stare at the training course and equipment. Kai who was staring at her with a smitten expression, saw her looking around

Then a smug smirk form on his face as he playfully flew his arm

"Ohhh you see these dangerous weapons? They are my training equipment, not as dangerous as the usual weapon. I am training as a ninja you see?" Kai said with a smug voice as he gestures to the training course with weapons and some dummies
