Louis was sprawled on their sofa, nursing a cup of tea as he watched Harry rummage through their record collection. The room was bathed in the soft glow of the evening sun, casting long shadows across the hardwood floor.

"Harry," Louis began, his voice low and filled with curiosity, "where did you get those bruises?"

Harry's fingers stilled on the edge of a vinyl record, and he turned to look at Louis with a sheepish smile. "Oh, those," he said, rubbing the back of his neck, where a particularly dark bruise peeked out from beneath his collar.

Louis couldn't help but arch an eyebrow, his intrigue growing. "Come on, Styles. Spill it."

Harry laughed, walking over to join Louis on the sofa. He settled beside him and sighed, as if he'd been waiting for this moment. "Well, you know how I've been taking boxing classes recently?"

Louis nodded, his curiosity piqued. He was aware that Harry had been hitting the gym more frequently lately, but he hadn't realized he'd taken up boxing.

"I've been enjoying it, and I wanted to get better," Harry continued. "So, I thought it would be a good idea to spar with my instructor after class one day."

Louis' eyes widened, and he couldn't help but let out a low whistle. "You sparred with a professional boxer? That explains the bruises."

Harry chuckled, running a hand through his disheveled curls. "Yeah, it was a bit of a crazy idea, but I wanted to challenge myself. Anyway, we went a few rounds, and let's just say he's quite the opponent."

Louis couldn't help but grin. "So, who won?"

Harry laughed, a hint of pride in his eyes. "Well, it was a draw, I think. But he definitely left his mark on me."

Louis leaned in, his fingers gently tracing one of the bruises on Harry's forearm. "I have to admit, Hazza, it's kind of hot that you're a boxer now."

Harry's cheeks flushed pink, and he leaned in for a slow, lingering kiss. "I'm glad you think so. But I promise not to let him mark me up too much. I have to keep looking presentable for you."

Louis chuckled, wrapping his arms around Harry. "You're always presentable to me, no matter how many bruises you have."

They shared another kiss, their love and affection for each other evident in every touch and glance.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Louis asked after a while and Harry perked up and nodded.

"Which one?" He asked and Louis shrugged, thinking about the question for a minute.

"How about Top Gun?" He proposed and Harry agreed, quickly pulling up the movie on their TV before going to the kitchen and grabbing some snacks.

He came back with a few bowls and some soda on a tray. He had brought popcorn, chocolate, m&ms and some cut up apples.

Harry sat down and Louis started the movie, cuddling up to his younger boyfriend. He brought his hand up to the back of Harry's neck and started gently rubbing the bruise there.

"That's really good, thanks Lou", Harry said and Louis smiled at him.

"Of course, love."
