I groaned as heard the iPhone alarm blaring, waking up up from my sleep. I had snoozed it three times already so I knew I needed to get up.
"The things you do for your passion" I thought.
I had to be in the studio early this morning, to finish up a song so I could release the album on schedule. I thanked God for waking me up and went to the bathroom to get ready.
After I had finished getting ready I reached for my phone but caught a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror

"Yow! Man can dress enuh dawg" he said admiring himself
"Nuh body daughter nuh waah come take me out on a date" he continued, while posing in the mirror
He then picked up his phone and called his best friend Alakai.
Alakai and Aries had been friends since they were going to prep school. They both attended The Vaz preparatory school and were inseparable since grade three.
He called him not expecting him to answer but surprisingly he answered on the second ring.
"Tank God fi yuh dawg yuh know seh a from 5:30 mi ready and mi deh yah a doze off. Anyways weh yah call mi phone suh early fah?" Alakai spoke
Aries rolled his eyes
"Need yuh fi drop mi a di studio, have some finishing touches fi mek pon di last song and mi waah guh dealid it suh mi deh pon track wid time and ting" he answered his question
"Alright mi artist, need fi pick up mi sister from di airport still. Bout what time yuh woulda need fi reach?" Alakai asked
"Anytime before nine o'clock but mi a try reach before one bagga people reach cause mi nuh inna di question question ting today" He responded
"Ah, mi a fawud now suh mek sure yuh come outside or is a chi chi bus yaah guh affi wull" Alakai said laughing
