I carried her back to the bed, my lips wanting to leave a tender kiss on her forhead, but right now, who the fuck am I to do that? I'm just somebody she forgot. Hope it's only for the time being and she'll finally remember all those unforgettable moments we shared, our relationship, our love. And if she's indeed carrying my baby, that baby is the symbol of our unseparable love.
I laid her gently on the bed, tucking her in, making her comfortable. She didn't want to let go of my hand though. Did she do it on purpose or by accident? But of course, I ain't gon' let her hand go, I held onto hers, gently squeezing it. Zoe looked at me, wanting to ask something. She came closer to my back, whispering in my ear, "Yo Jes, we should already ask the doctor about that strange kick we felt you know?" Billie didn't realize Zoe was whispering and shit, she was holding my hand, inspecting all my tattoos that were on my hand. I softly whispered back, making sure Billie wasn't aware, "Alright, when do you wanna go ask?" "Right now duh."
"Hey Bils, we're just gon' go see the doctor real quick, you just rest here kay?" She looked up from my hand, "Oh...okay." She let go of my hand, and we left. We got to the doctor's office, luckily she was there, and had welcomed us in. We went in, and I started the conversation, "Hi doctor, hope you're not busy right now." "Don't worry about that Mr. Rutherford, I'm not really busy right now. I assume you guys are here to tell me or inform me about something?" She asked. Very kind doctor lol.
Zoe told her about it, "So uhm doctor, Jesse and I felt a small kick from Billie's belly and we're clueless about it." "Okay that's a little odd, and it clearly has nothing to do with her amnesia. I'll do a ultrasound just to check." "Mhm kay, is this any symptoms of anything else?" I asked. "Other than the kick, did anything else happen?" "She said she was dizzy and she threw up," Zoe continued it.
"Alright, any other symptoms?" "No, nothing else." "Well, this also could be some liver infection, but that's impossible to happen at the moment. So it's best if I take an ultrasound and we can find out the cause." We nodded a yes, "Okay, thank you for your time doctor." "No worries," she flashed us a smile.

We returned back to the room, and I could definitely see Billie's face lit up. "Hi!" Bro why does she have to be so fucking cute?? I just wanna kiss her lips, her cheek, her forhead, her soft hands. I just can't resist myself from showering her with kisses. Help.
I walked over to her, "Wassup?" She giggled, "Nothing." I wanted to see how much she could remember so I took my phone, asking her if she remembers Matthew. Maybe she would, but to my suprise when I showed her, she didn't. "Who the fuck is that?" "Lol some rat who is a bitch." "Lmfao why you hatin' on him?" "Because he fucking deserves it." "Oh well, okay. Next one?" "You're impatient." "Shut up." We bursted out laughing. Laughing so hard that we were crying out of laughter.
"You remember this bitch?" I asked as I showed her Brandon's picture. She suddenly started shaking and crying. I put down the phone and immediately hugged her, stroking her hair as she held onto me. "Oh my, are you okay Bils?" She only hugged me tighter, sobbing into my chest. "Shhh......shhh don't worry I'm here for ya. It's okay, you're safe as long as you're in my arms baby." Shit what the fuck did I say.
Think she didn't hear it 'cause she didn't say a single thing. Phew. I gently lifted her chin, our faces inches away from each other, I could hear her breathing. I wiped her tears, kissed her cheek. Her reaction made me laugh like hell. Her eyes widened, and she stopped sobbing, her eyes fixed on me, her body frozen and I smiled. "Yes?" "N-no-th-in-g." I let out a chuckle, she was still in......shock? I don't know bro hehehe.
Zoe came in, and she playfully cheered, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." And as she did, Billie rested her head on my shoulder, hugging my torso. I grinned at Zoe. "Shut up," Billie said. Of course she's savage as fuck.
The doctor came in, and yup, it was time for the ultrasound. "Okay Billie, follow me please," she sat her down on the wheelchair. "Can we follow too?" "Definitely, Jesse." "Thank you."
We got into the room. "Hey Billie, everything is gon' be okay? Alright?" I said as she held my hand, her grip firm. "Okay."
She lifted the medical robe that Billie was wearing and had put the gel. "It's cold," Billie chuckled and looked at me. I gently stroked her hair, Zoe was looking at us in awe. We looked at the monitor and it detected another heartbeat. My eyes were wide as hell. Laughin' out loud, Zoe was going crazy. Silently.
"Wow- there's another heartbeat." The doctor was amused. "A-nd wh-at d-does t-hat me-an?" And on the monitor, I saw another life. Another human that was in her. Not just any human, a human our love created. I would never forget this day. "I'-m pregnan-t?" "Wow, actually yes, Billie."
Billie got all teary. Damn, so did I. Tears of joy, happiness. She knows she's the mother, how can I tell her that I'm the father? The doctor shifted her back into the room and Zoe was with Billie, as the doctor wanted to talk to me privately. "Okay, this is kinda like a survey, so I need you to answer me truthfully. "Sure, no problem." "Are you happy about the baby?" "Of course I am, but still how do I tell her?" "She isn't in shock or anything, so I hope she's happy about it, but I'm afraid you do have to tell her, Mr. Rutherford." "I'll tell her, soon." "Well that's good. All the best!" I smiled faintly to her and went back in the room. Billie looked confused as fuck.
"You good B?" Zoe side-eyed me, while Billie gave me a sweet smile. "I'm good, b-but I don't even have a boyfriend....." I felt like I lost everything when she said that. Zoe gasped softly, her eyes on me. Lol think she thought I was about to sob my life out. Hell nah, I'm getting my Billie back, we'll fall in love again like how we did. Just like the first time.
