Dropping everything they bought on the kitchen counter, Jisung sat on the stool next to it, as Hyejin and Minho went straight to cooking.

They worked together efficiently, both showing off their own exceptional skills. At times they took small breaks as they engaged in smalltalk, with Jisung doing the most talking among them. The two seemed to be more similar than they initially thought. Minho turned out to be a very fun person to be around to, and Hyejin just loved his unconventional sense of humour.

Because Jisung felt kind of left out, he was soon to join them at the other side of the counter. It didn't take long before they sent him back though, since he ended up making a huge mess as he clumsily dropped a few ingredients while laughing around.

Jisung went back to his seat disappointed, but the frown in his face was soon replaced by an adoring look, as he slightly tilted his head to the side.
Watching two his favourite people laugh and enjoy each other's company warmed his heart.

To him Minho's opinion mattered a lot. Not only did he know him better than anyone, but he was also a great judge of character. Him not approving of Hyejin would sadden him a lot. Perhaps, it would even change any future plan he had of getting with her.

The relief he felt the moment he saw them like that, was simply impossible to put into words. Not to mention, the familiar warm feeling of butterflies coming alive inside his stomach as he observed her astonishing smile. She was simply breathtaking, and her sole existence managed to give a meaning to his every day. She truly had his heart captured at the depths of the oceans, so well-guarded that he couldn't possibly imagine a future without her in it.

Lunch was eventually ready and they all sat down to enjoy the food. Jisung was next to Minho, leaving Hyejin alone across from them, where she, for the first time, had the time to actually observe their bond.

It certainly wasn't the normal type of friendship, that she could tell. In all honesty though, it didn't matter to her. They were overly affectionate and touchy with one another, but she understood that was their way of expressing how much they cared. She knew she had no right to get in the middle of that and she would truthfully never dare to.

"So how do you feel now that you've finally met all of the kids?", Jisung asked Hyejin.

"The kids?", she raised an eyebrow.

He saw Minho widening his eyes at him from his peripheral vision, as he nudged him on the side.

"Oh right... The friend group, I mean!", he was quick to try and cover up his mistake.

"Oh...", she mumbled, "All of your friends are incredible! I bet meeting them all together would be absolutely chaotic!", she let out a laugh, "By the way I didn't realise the trip was so close to an end already!"

"Well, almost...", Minho smirked sending Jisung a knowing look.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Aahh, you have to be patient, my dear! You'll find out what he means soon enough!", Jisung responded copying his friend's smirk.

Hyejin allowed her imagination to travel far in the distances it could reach, as she searched of every possibility of what Jisung's next plan might be. It had to be something concerning the conversation they had the night they spent in Busan. He had told her word by word that he would ask her to be his girlfriend. She couldn't help but feel nervous and excited at the same time.

They spent the rest of the afternoon casually sitting on the couch and having the TV on, playing some sort of program while they talked over it. Hyejin learned that Minho was a dancer, and a very good one for that matter. He promised to teach her one or two moves after they returned to Seoul.

Time went by faster than they could comprehend, and before they even realised, it was starting to get dark.

"You forgot to do your life lesson thing today...", Hyejin turned to Jisung as she remembered the 'list'.

"No, I didn't!"

"Really? But we barely left the apartment, when did you find the time for that?", she raised her eyebrow.

Jisung only shrugged with that smirk occupying his face again. "Then what is this about?"

"Step seven:𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙠𝙮 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨. Minho informed me about the little incident at the store earlier..."

Her jaw dropped and she averted her head to look at the said guy sending daggers at him, 'You're dead meat!' she mouthed to him.

Minho raised his eyebrows looking at her with a cocky smile, 'I'd like to see you try', he mouthed back.

"Why did you do that?", Hyejin whined, "now, he's going to make fun of me until the day I die!"

"Nah...", Jisung replied, "I'll be there to annoy you in your afterlife as well!"

"So you're basically saying you're planning to spend the rest of eternity with me?"

He nodded, "Yeah, pretty much..."

"Holy shit, I'm stuck with you forever!"

"Damn right, you are! Why? Do you not want to be?"

She just shrugged returning the smirk she had received from him multiple times that day, "Never said I didn't..."

They were interrupted by a sound of chuckling from across the room. Turning to that, they saw Minho leaning on the counter with a bunch of chips at hand looking at the two very intently, "No please, carry on! I want to see what happens next!"

Only then did the two become aware of how close the had gotten. Jisung let out a small laugh at the situation. Slightly backing off, he took Hyejin's hand and standing up, he led her to the inner part of the apartment. He opened the door to a room and stopped right in front of it, "I'll be back here in a couple of hours... I think that's plenty of time for both of us to get ready!"

Hyejin looked inside the room in question, "Ready for what?"

"Our date"

And she watched him as he moved down the hall and only when she couldn't see him anymore she moved inside.

Stepping in the room, the first thing she noticed was the dress sitting on the bed before her. It had to be one of the loveliest dresses she had even put her eyes upon.

It had just the right amount of class, while managing to maintain its summer vibe. On top of it, she found a small handwritten note reading: 'Channie Hyung helped me with the size, so it must be the right one... I loved how you looked wearing my favourite colour when we went out for the first time, so I couldn't help but imagine how breathtaking you would look wearing this! I had to buy it for you! I hope you like it<3'

She smiled to herself as she carefully folded the note and left it to the side to take the dress on her hands and observe it more closely.
