It was 6:30 pm and Kiraa was currently in the kitchen, preparing for dinner.
She was chopping vegetables when suddenly, she felt a pair of warm, muscular arms wrap around her from behind. Her face instantly lighten with excitement, she didn't even need to turn around. She knew exactly who it was behind her, It was no other than her husband Kaui Liang.
Kiraa gently placed the knife down on the cutting board before turning around and pulling Kaui Liang into a warm embrace. After a month away on a grueling mission, Kuai Liang finally returned home.
He took a deep breath and relished the comforting familiarity of his wife's touch and his home's air, a stark contrast to the scent of battlefields.
"Kaui, I've missed you." she says with relief and a hint excitement, savoring the reunion.
"I'm home, my dear." he whispered softly, also savoring the reunion.
