May and Pepper started looking Penny over even though for her it's been years and everything that happened would have healed by now "When we get out of here, I will be having a talk with younger you" May warned her niece making her wince "Yeah, I figured" Penny sighed before escaping their hold and walking back to Stephen

Soon the lights dimmed again and the screen turned on

I'm wide awake 

Penny and Ned stay up all night building a new Lego set

Penny and Tony are in the living room in PJ's watching the Bambi movie while eating popcorn 

I'm wide awake

Spider-Woman stands on top of Stark tower looking over the city 

Yeah, I was in the dark
I was falling hard 

Spider-Woman is trapped in a hologram of a dark room
Penny gets pushed to the ground making her face twist up in pain 

All the men that were protective over Penny glared at the screen wondering who pushed Penny

How did I read the stars so wrong?

19 year old Stephen and 16 year old Penny dance under the stars smiling at each other
18 year old Penny walks away leaving 21 year old Stephen alone in the rain 

Penny and Stephen frown remembering that fight. It was right before he did the spell on everyone, they were fighting about Penny future... it didn't end well 

 And now it's clear to me

Penny is sitting in the gym watching a PSA video of Captain America with a smile on her face

Penny holds Tony bloody body up as she looks at the bloody shield 

Natasha, Clint, Thor and Bruce eyes widen seeing the blood on Steve shield and Tony's bloody body "You..." Bruce said looking at Steve in horror making him flinch. Never had any of his team looked at him with such horror or disgust before

Penny smiles seeing Tony looking so happy with Pepper before joining them

Pepper rest a hand on Penny shoulder at Tony funeral
Penny and MJ are arguing "What! That no hero ever gets a happy ending! I would have liked to know that!" Penny yelled   

Wouldn't dive in, wouldn't bow down

Penny stands back up wiping the blood off her face
Spider-Woman punches an alien in the face 

"What the hell is that!?" Draco yelled staring at the screen in disgust "An alien" Team Iron man plus Nat, Clint and Stephen told him 

Gravity hurts, you made it so sweet

Spider-Woman falls off a building 
Stephen pushes Penny hair away from her face making her smile 

'Til I woke up on, on the concrete

Penny body lays still on the sidewalk "PENNY!" Ned and MJ rushed towards her 

Penny winced remembering that fight, it left her with broken ribs and a cracked skull. She was lucky that she was alive... or that's what Stephen, Ned and MJ tells her 

Falling from cloud nine
Crashing from the high

Penny swings through the city as Spider-Woman waving at people 
Penny and MJ stare at the screen in horror as her identity is told to the public 

Penny and Stephen glare at the screen. That was what started everything

An older looking Penny smiled at Stephen before letting go of his hand falling down a building. On her wrist was power damping cuffs "NO!" Stephen yelled watching wife fall as he held onto May, cuffs can be seen on his wrist as well

"NO!" Everyone yelled watching Penny fall. Penny and Stephen stop breathing seeing her fall to her death and the cuffs on her wrist. How in the hell did someone get the cuffs they made! "No!" Tony snatch Penny from Stephen holding her close and bringing to his sofa with Pepper and Rhodey 

I'm wide awake
Not losing any sleep

Penny is in bed sleeping next to Stephen 

I picked up every piece
And landed on my feet (I'm wide awake)

Penny laughed as her, May and Beverly spray Stephen with silly string 
"I love you Penelope Parker-Strang" Stephen whispered holding her as they danced 

Thunder rumbling

Penny dressed in her Spider-Woman suit, mask in hand stands in front of a billboard watching JJ Johnson talk about her with tears in her eyes 

Tony and Pepper glare at JJ Johnson. "Don't listen to him" Pepper told Penny "He hates all hero's because someone" she motions to Steve "Killed his daughter in one of the fights" Steve looked at her in horror, he didn't know he killed someone 

Everyone expect Wanda shifted away from him  

Castles crumbling (I'm wide awake)

A machinal breaks down in the middle of New York
Pink lighting goes through the sky showing the Avengers tower

I am trying to hold on (I'm wide awake)

Penny looks up cuts cover her face 
Penny holding Tony as he dies
Penny laying May body on the ground
Penny, MJ and Ned hug one last time
Penny and Stephen kiss 

God knows that I tried

Penny stands in front of May "I lost May" she said tears in her eyes

Penny looks down at the water. Her reflection, half is covered by her mask and the other half shows her cut up face 

Seeing the bright side (I'm wide awake)

Penny leans against the wall after her fight with Toomes
Penny crouching on top of a roof looking at the sky after the fun raiser 
Penny dressed in her black suit looks at Fury with a glare and wet eyes as fire burns in the background 

I'm not blind anymore

Penny sits in front of Happy trying not to cry
Ned and MJ hold Penny as she sobs crying out for her aunt

People hearts break seeing the girl in such a venerable state. May especially broke seeing her niece crying out for her but she wasn't there, not anymore

I'm wide awake

Penny smiles sadly at her friends before walking away. Neither of them knowing she was there
