My heart skipped a beat as I heard Altair's voice echoing in my mind. It was him! The connection was real, and he could hear me too. Excitement and nervousness tangled in my chest as I mustered the courage to respond.

"Altair? Is that really you?" I projected my thoughts, hoping he would hear me loud and clear.

A pause followed, filled with anticipation and a hint of amusement. "Yes, Anaya, it's me. I've been waiting for you to reach out. And yes I can hear you loud and clear."

Relief washed over me, mingling with a surge of curiosity. "I can't believe this is happening. How are we able to communicate like this? And who are you, Altair? I hope you're not some perverted intergalactic psycho."

His voice resonated in my mind, carrying a mixture of warmth and intrigue. "The bond we share, Anaya, it's a telepathic connection that transcends dimensions. As for who I am, I am just a soul yearning for connection, much like you. We are connected on a deep level, crossing the boundaries of our worlds. The mechanics are unclear, but our bond exists I would love to explore its range and limitations with you"

A shiver of excitement ran down my spine, and I couldn't help but smile. "I've felt it too, Altair. The strange visions, the overwhelming emotions, it all makes sense now. But how can we be soulmates if we've never met in person?"

Altair's voice grew softer as if he was choosing his words carefully. "Soulmates aren't bound by physical proximity, Anaya. Our souls recognize each other, even across dimensions. We are drawn together by a force greater than ourselves, and our connection is meant to transcend the limitations of the physical world."

A swirl of emotions filled my being - hope, wonder, and a tinge of longing. I couldn't deny the magnetic pull I felt towards Altair, even though we had never met face-to-face. "Altair, I want to know more about you, your likes, dislikes, what you do, your daily routine, about your world everything. Can you show me?"

He chuckled softly in my mind, a sound that sent a wave of warmth through me. "Patience, Anaya. I would love nothing but to show you everything about my life and world but that would also require a lengthy conversation with explanations for my world is very different from yours. but you need to rest, you have exams coming up. For now, let us revel in this telepathic bond, and trust that fate will guide us on this journey."

I grumbled a bit a the notion of exams did he have to be so sensible, then I smiled and nodded, even though Altair couldn't see me. "I trust you, Altair. I believe in our connection, and I'm ready to embrace whatever lies ahead. And be prepared for a thousand questions as soon as I get a break"

he chuckled "I promise that I'll answer what I can, for now, get some rest, Graceful Lady"

As our telepathic conversation came to a gentle close, I couldn't help but feel a newfound sense of purpose and excitement. The world seemed filled with endless possibilities, and I knew deep in my heart that this connection with Altair was just the beginning of an extraordinary adventure.
