OMNISCIENT POV

JHENE WATERS wasn't like any regular teenager. Usually as a teenager you'd party, have sexual encounters, melt into social media and the list goes on. Even though she didn't do any of those things, she never judged others for doing it.

Jhene likes to read, she doesn't go out much unless it out to eat with her parents or her bestfriend Zenni, she didn't own any social media accounts except instagram—but she barely used it. Zenni respected that she wasn't into the other kind of crowds so she didn't force it on her.

Her parents had her at a very young age, but age didn't stop them from doing what they needed to do in order to take care of their daughter. She had a good bond with both of her parents, and for that she was thankful. Now that she's older she doesn't see them as much as before due to their careers. Her mom is a traveling nurse and her father owns a trucking company.

With them always being on the road, she tried to start new hobbies to keep herself occupied—other than reading and doing homework. Jhene became fond of doing light beat makeup and customizing wigs as well as natural hair. She thought about making a YouTube at some point but with the way she overthinks, it would definitely take some time and convincing.

As of now she was currently packing her belongings in three suitcases. Her parents decided to let her stay at her aunts house since they would most likely be traveling a lot. Even though she was at a age to watch herself, they'd feel better taking her somewhere with family rather than leaving her alone in the house.

Her Aunt Monica lived in the Bronx area, while Jhene and her parents lived in Brooklyn. It wasn't so far but it was definitely a travel.

Jhene was bummed about not being able to see her parents often for the spring break, but she knew they only meant well. On the other hand she was excited because she got to catch up with her cousin Kaliyah.
