☆ NAIL SALON, BRONX, NEW YORK☆ August 07, 2021 2:06PM OMNISCIENT POV
The four ladies walked into the empty nail salon catching the attention of the workers. Immediately being ushered to sit on the massage chairs. Since they all wore slides, their feet were placed into the foot bath. Jhene's mom was on a small break from work so she decided to treat the ladies to a small spa day.
"This shit hurt." Kaliyah mumbled uncomfortably, as the massage chair punched in her back.
Jhene chuckled agreeing, sometimes it was a bitter-sweet moment with nail salon massage chairs. One day it'll hurt, another time it would actually feel good. She watched as the lady before her began filling up the warm water smelling the sweet scent of lavender foot scrub.
"What about you girls?" Andrea asked averting her attention to Jhene and Kaliyah who sat side by side.
"Huh?" They spoke in sync turning their heads around.
"What's tea? Or whatever y'all be saying these days." She spoke, hearing the girls and Monica let out small laughter.
"Nothing much with me, If I'm not with nene I'm with my mannnn." Kaliyah smirked, flipping her hair over her shoulder playfully.
" I know that's right, hopefully I get to meet the young man who has been giving you heart eyes before I leave." Andrea said, while Kaliyah nodded her head blushing.
"What about you Jhene? Anything new?" She asked. Unfortunately for Jhene, her aunt had been giving Andrea updates. Not coming from a bad place but she felt like her sister in law was out of the loop, and she knew that Andrea wasn't hardy body like her bald headed brother.
"Nothing much just been to myself." Jhene shrugged. It's been a little minute since she last spoke to Kay and it didn't go well. When she decided to pick up his call he continuously yelled and spoke over her, after that he was officially blocked.
