"Attorney Reyes! I heard you've won another case." Attorney Galvez said as he approached me. He congratulated my performance as a lawyer.

"Thank you, Attorney Galvez. It's my duty to serve the rights of my client. Besides, the justice is on their side anyway." I said making his brow raised. Knowing him in a short period of time, I know he's one of those dirt in our firm. Dumbass.

"Yeah. Of course. Congratulations again." he said before leaving me behind. I just shook my head and make my way to the elevator. But before I stepped in, I heard someone shouting. It's him again.

"Attorney!" Archer shouted again but I didn't bother to wait him. "Attorney naman... Pauwi ka na ba? Hang out tayo nila Kiro this midnight." he said as soon as he entered the elevator.

"I'm busy." I answered while looking at my wrist watch. It's only 5pm. It's too early for me to go home but I'm excited to see my kids.

"Kailan ka ba naman hindi naging busy? Halos isubsob mo na yang mukha mo sa trabaho. Kaya ka hindi nakakakita ng bagong chix eh. Masyado kang tutok sa trabaho. Try mo mag chillax minsan, Attorney. Sayang ang kagwapuhan mo at kagwapuhan ko kung aamagin lang natin." saad nito na mukhang gagawin ang lahat pumayag lang ako sa gusto niya. As if I waste my time for it.

"Maiba 'ko, Attorney. Nakauwi na si Lara galing abroad. Do you have plans, huh?" nang-aasar na sabi nito sa'kin. Everytime he got some information about Lara, he's always like this. Teasing me around. Convincing me to check on her. Everything he knew how can I approach her again, he always talked about it. But I'm too scared to make a single move.

"I don't have anyone. And I don't think I will have." I said in a very serious tone. Making him to act serious also.

I was about to open my cars' door but I stiffened when I heard Archer shouted. "Lara!" Is she here? If she's here, ano naman ang gagawin niya rito?

"Attorney!" dinig ko na tawag nito sa'kin. Am I ready to faced her again? After I hurt her? After that painful night?

"Lara... Let's end this." I said even if it's hurting me so bad.

"A-Ano? Mavs... " hindi makapaniwalang sabi nito habang patuloy na umaagos ang luha mula sa mga mata niya. I can't do this. But I need to do this.

"Lara, let's cut our ties. Ayoko na. Pagod na 'ko. I don't want to be on the same light of yours. Nasisilaw na 'ko, Lara. Nahihirapan na 'ko sa kung anong mayroon tayo. Lara, please... Let's end this." sinikap ko na pigilan ang mga luha na nagbabadyang kumawala sa mga mata ko pero huli na para rito.
