He opens the door for you and you thank him and slide into your seat. He closes the door and walks to the drivers side where he opens the door and sits down. Then he starts driving.

"What restaurant are we going to?" You ask.

"You'll see," he says with a grin, " So, tell me about yourself."

You look down nervously, not wanting to tell him about your family. But, you feel like you can trust him so you tell him.

"I was born and raised here in California, and I am an only child. My mom is an on-set makeup artist for actors and actresses and my dad owns a small company. Throughout high-school my mom taught me how to do makeup and helped me get into the same industry as her. I finished highschool, and I never had to go to college."

"That is so amazing, I didn't know that you worked on-set. I should have you work with us for Mockingjay," he says.

Your jaw drops.

"That would be great! I'd love that!" You say.

"Great! Ill see what I can do!" He says, "And it looks like we're here."

You look out your window to see a large, beautiful building.

"We're eating here?!" You ask.

"Yeah! I wanted to make a good impression!" He jokes. You smile at him as he gets out and walks over to your door to let you out. You step out and he wraps his arm around you. You blush and smile as he leads you inside.

Josh's hand is still around your waist as you enter the building.

"Hello, can I help you?" says a waiter.

"Reservations for Hutcherson," he tells him.

"Right this way," says the man, and he brings us to a table with a nice candle in the center, and a chandelier hanging almost directly above you.

"Oh Josh...this is too much!" You say.

"I wanted you to have the best. And the food is outstanding here!" He says smiling at you. You both sit down, and talk for a while. Sharing almost everything about each other. The waiter comes up and you order the cheapest thing on the menu, knowing it will be expensive anyway. Your food comes out and you both start to eat.

"Josh, this is amazing! But next time we should do something less expensive! I feel bad," you say. Then you realize you said 'next time.' What if there is no next time? You blush again and look at him, hoping he won't disapprove.

"I'm glad that you like it! How about next time we go to my house for dinner?" He says. You blush even more," Sounds great!" You say. You both finish eating and before you can stop it, he pays for the meal once again.

"I'm going to pay one of these times!" You say laughing. You both walk to his car and get inside.

"I had an amazing time tonight with you, (y/n)" he says. He looks into your eyes.

"Me too," you say. He slowly leans in and kisses you. Wow. This is amazing. You know you're blushing, but its too dark for him to notice...

He quickly pulls back.

"I am so sorry...it just felt right," he says. Why is he apologizing? It was amazing.

"Its okay, I think It felt right too," you say. He lets out a sigh of relief," Good," he says. He drives you home, and walks you to your door.

"I'm looking forward to that next date. What's a good day for you?" He says. Today is a Saturday, the 21st, and you remember that your parents come the 23rd.

"I guess the best day for me would have to be tomorrow," you smile at him.

"Sounds great, i'll see you then," he says. He kisses you lightly on the lips and walks back to his car. You turn around a walk inside. It really has been a perfect night.
