"I am back!" You announced to no one in particular. Xie Lian and Hua Cheng rushed out of the place. Xie Lian engulfed you into a hug and Hua Cheng joined you both too.

"How have you been?I hope the journey wasn't tiring?" Xie Lain asked. He smiled and took a moment to observe you. Then they both lead you inside to the 'home' section.

"Absolutely beautiful!" You removed your sword and other accessories from your waistband and placed them on the little table. "Journey was fine. No hindrance."

"You have to tell us about what happened. How your study went, did you make any friends?" Hua Cheng asked impatiently.

"Calm down...." You chuckled, "So, where is he?" Your question shifted the focus of conversation.

Xie Lian shifted a bit, then he nodded and got up. Hua Cheng got up as well and led you two to a different section of the palace.

"How did it go?" You asked.

"Nothing much, he is like a feral cat with knife." Hua Cheng rolled his eye. "Resisted a few days, didn't had meals but it all calmed down once we presented him choice between-" he stopped. We have reached in front of a door of some sort.

"Between?" You asked. Now that he left like that, you were more curious to know.

"Between either behaving and having one candy with every meal, or continue this behaviour and have your old man's cooking forced down my throat." A snarky voice owner opened the door. The male in front of you was wearing dark clothes, his eyes were glinted with craziness and had a cat like smile. There must be a protective barrier between to prevent him from fleeing.
