Muriel signed the form with a flourish before sending it into the ether. They didn't really know what the universe was but it seemed really interesting. The Archangels spent quite a lot of effort designing all of the details and they gave Muriel the job of cataloguing it. It was a lot of work, but they didn't mind. It was nice to be noticed.
Muriel looked around at the secluded patch of nothingness that was their workplace. No time passed while they floated because time didn't exist yet. Another stack of papers appeared in front of them with the title:
Status report: the Universe
Contents: undocumented
Muriel miracled away the "undocumented" and began the long process of filling in the contents of the universe with all its galaxies, nebulas, planets and stars. This would have taken a while if time existed.
