Today is Saturday, October twenty-eighth. We haven't seen Wrenley in 3652.5 days. She was taken from Luce when she was just an infant. She had no recollection of her identity, and nobody can recall what hospital she was born in. Even Luce has forgotten. Today is Wrenley's birthday. Today, she would have been celebrating her tenth birthday with her friends and family. In the secluded branch of town, she would have been laughing and listening to her favorite music as she blew out the many candles stuck into her red velvet cake. Luce planned the cake for her first birthday. Unfortunately, she wasn't given a first birthday. And now, she won't even be presented with her tenth.
