M had been warned many, many times, to never leave the Red Kingdom. Unfortunately, he had a very adventurous spirit. He was uncontainable. M did not heed the warning of his Leader. Countless times, he has left the Red Kingdom, careful enough to at least cloak his true identity. He knew the Leader would be upset, I mean, the Red Steve's had been hiding ever since the Darkness nearly left them all extinct.
He was content with being an apprentice and the future leader. He just couldn't be content with being contained. M valued his freedom, being free made him feel good, which made him feel happy. Every time he left, he knew he risked something bad happening to him. He knew he should heed the warning, but he was smart enough to know his limit and what to stay away from.
Still, he hopes that one day, his people can explore the world again and re-experience things they experienced once upon a time. It's only a matter of time.
