"hello mary darling" i say into the phone "hi love, how have you been?" i hear her sweet voice say "not great. but i'm getting through it" i say sighing

"lets go out tonight!" i hear her say excitedly "i- why" i say "because we haven't hung out in 3 weeks because your heartbroken over a stupid boy named- whats his name again?" i hear her say as i start laughing "it doesn't matter, we're going out" i hear her say as i hesitate for a bit

i groan "fine, fine! ill go, your buying me drinks" i tell her "pff whatever" i hear her say, knowing shes smiling "as long as we get to hangout" she says "pick me up at 8?" i say "you know it, see ya!" she says before she hangs up

i groan, running my hand through my hair

my name is aubrey adams, weird lastname right? i have just been broken up with, i havent been leaving my house since. tonight my bestfriend is taking me out, it is currently 5, so i have 3 hours to get ready

i sigh and look around my house, dirty, stuff everywhere.

the night i got broken up with i smashed everything, not everything just, some things.. i have been sleeping on my couch

i walk into my room and grab underwear and a bra before making my way to the shower, i look at myself in the mirror, barely recognizing myself.

bags under my eyes, messy hair, smudged mascara from the night he left me

i haven't showered since then, so i was happy to shower, finally getting my motivation back.

after my shower, i walked into my room and made my way to the closet, i grabbed a brown long sleeve, with some jeans that had patterns on the thighs

i slid on my clothes and looked in the mirror

i smiled at myself, i grabbed a necklace and put it on, it was just a simple silver necklace with a heart in the middle, i put on my hoop earrings and started doing my makeup

kinda dark red lipstick, not to dark. with some blue eyeshadow, not to much though

i put on mascara before i looked at the time 7:27

have about 30 minutes, i say to myself before i start doing glittery eye shadow on the inner part of my eye, kinda in the middle

i put my hair up, half down half up, i scrunch my nose in the mirror before putting my perfume on

as im done getting ready i look for a coat to go with my outfit

i grab a leather jacket that goes up to my thighs as i throw on heels

i check the time 7:56, just in time.

i shut off at the lights in my house and grab my purse and put my wallet in it before heading to the balcony to see if her car was here

i stepped onto the balcony, feeling the warm autumn breeze (idk what season it was when freddie met smile so)

i smiled and closed my eyes

after awhile i opened them and seen marys car coming down the road, i shut my balcony and grabbed my keys before stepping out of my apartment door and locking it before making my way downstairs

i saw mary waiting for me outside her car

"hi beautiful girl!" she says lighting up as she sees me and hugs me "havent seen you in forever" she says before letting go "shall we go?" she says as i nod and step into her vehicle

we we're catching up before we arrived at a little club

we walked in, seeing a band playing, the word 'smile' on the drums, the lead singer playing bass had long hair, as well as the guitarist, i looked at the drummer, he had long blonde hair, he was kinda cute

mary bought me a iced tea and as the song ended she saw someone "i gotta go catch up with someone real quick! be right back" she says before disappearing

then a guy with kinda long hair stands beside me before another song starts playing "there pretty good" he says as i nod "the names freddie" he says holding out his hand "aubrey" i say smiling

"you come here alot?" he asks as i say its my first time, he's pretty nice "boyfriend?" he asks "just got broken up with, came with my friend to get it off my mind" i say looking at the band "where is she?" he asks looking around "talking to a friend"

"you seem nice aubrey, we need to hangout again" freddie tells me as i pull out a little note pad from my purse with a pen for something like this "heres my number" i say writing it down and handing him the paper "anyway, i gotta look for my friend, see you freddie" i say before walking down this little hall i saw her walk down

i found her and went and stood beside her while i wait for her to finish her conversation

freddie came walking by and looked at me as i smiled and he looked at mary and sorta slowed down on his walking and just stared at her "may i help you?" she asks "oh sorry, i was just looking for the band" freddie says "there usually out back" mary tells him as he starts walking again before stopping and looking at her

"i like your coat." he tells her as she says "thank you," she says before he starts walking again and she says "its from biba" he looks back at her before her friend says "she works there" and she looks at her and says thank you sarcastically as freddie smiles and walks out

after awhile me and mary left again, her saying that freddie is cute, i just kept shaking my head at her smiling

oh love, love at first site. thats cute, i just know there gonna date

i think as we drive back to my flat, and before i knew it i was at home, i just went straight to bed.

i feel like this is a short chapter LOL, but another book??????? i act like people read these i jus keep getting ideas
