"Somi noona can you pass me the bill I need to go fast." "Yeah sure just a minute let me serve the food" I hummed and continued packing the food.
It is going to be a long tiring day as always but at least at the end of the day I will get some pay.
After Somi handed me the bill I packed the bag and took the keys off my bicycle.
I have to deliver this order on time. It was 7:00 a.m. by my watch. The cold foggy weather outside was of no help it made my bare legs go numb. I don't even have something very warm to wear. I just have a frock with a thin cardigan and a scarf that was given to me by somi noona on my birthday.
I didn't celebrate my birthday before this because I never knew when I was born. I got to know it from my birth certificate they handed me when I left that hell.
In the road I saw the children holding their parents hand and roaming around. I also wanted such a life. But fate has different roles to play. I soon reached my destination.
So many rich people around freely roaming have a lavish life. I am not sad that I don't have this type of lavishness but I am angry with the fact how they behave with the poor like us. They look down at us as if we are made of garbage. They are just disgusting.
I didn't care and got inside the huge building. I searched for the reception.
"You need anything ma'am?"
"Umm y-yes someone known as Kang Jung-ho. He ordered this food."
I tried my best not to stutter.
"Yes ma'am just a minute "
She dialled a number and called someone. I didn't pay attention to her and got inspired by the interior design of the building.
"Ma'am " I snapped back to reality.
"Yes"
"He is there in floor 15 room 64 please go and hand the delivery to him"
I nodded. Getting inside the elevator it was oddly empty. I shrugged it of. As soon as the elevator dinged I went out to the certain room placed the food outside. Rang the bell and walked away.
But got stopped by the voice.
"Where are you going girl. Won't you mind to show your face at least!?"
He asked in an authoritative voice.
I shakely turned around with a fake smile on my face to notice a man in his mids leaning against the door of that room. So he is Kang Jung-ho.
"You need anything sir" I asked in a polite manner.
He eyeed me from top to bottom. I felt very insecure.
"Come at least have a cup of tea you look tired"
I shook my head as a no ,why will I have a cup of tea with a stranger?
"Do you want me to complain about you to the restaurant for not cooperating with your customers?"
I thought about the restaurant . I realised if he really complains then I will lose a job.
Shit if I got this job with a lot of effort, I can't lose it that easily.
I nodded and followed him inside the room.
"Wait here on the couch I will bring something for us to eat with the tea. "
I nodded because I have no other option instead of listening to him right now.
I hesitated a bit and sat down on the couch.
Little did I know what was going on in the back....
