Daryl, on his day off from work, was sitting on the couch, watching whatever was on TV when he gets a phone call from Y/N, the girl he's been seeing over the last two weeks. He picks up the phone with a smile. "Hey!"
"Hey!" he hears her gentle voice reply. "How are you? How's your day been?"
"Good, I'm good" Daryl replies, leaning back on the couch, crossing his right leg over his left. "Day's been kinda slow though. It's my day off so I ain't been doin nothin..... how about you?"
"I'm great" he can picture her smile through the ecstatic tone in her voice. "I had a job interview today for a position as a therapist and I think it went really well. I honestly think I got the job!" he can tell how excited she is about this, causing a proud smile to spread across his face. "Really? That's amazing! I'm happy for you"
"Thanks" she says sweetly and happily. "Anyways, I was calling to see if you were busy tonight"
"Nah" Daryl chuckles. "I ain't got no plans. Why?"
"Well.... Every Wednesday night my family and I go bowling together and , well, I know we've only been going out for a couple of weeks, but I was wondering if you wanted to come ? I know it's a little soon to be meeting my family, so you don't have to, but I think it could be fun"
