day off

*Sakura's POV*

I woke up, feeling completely exhausted.
The first thing i felt, was my whole body arching.
What happened yesterday?
Why did I felt like this, even though I slept the whole night?
I propped myself up with my arms and looked around.
I was in my room, only wearing my underwear.

Ughh...

I struggled out of bed and pulled on a t-shirt and short pants.
Sleepily, I stumbled to my kitchen.
I felt so bad, I had to eat something.

To my surprise, I noticed the smell of freshly made food from my kitchen.
Huh???
Someone was in my kitchen and was preparing something to eat!
Back then, i would think it were my mother, but i moved out since a few years.

I could not believe my eyes.
It was Ino, she was sitting on a chair at my kitchen table.
She had made breakfast!
I was too confused, so that i just looked at her, standing there.
Why was she here?

"Good morning sleepyhead! You came at the right time."
She smiled wide at my.
"I made breakfast. Let's eat."

"Y-You made... breakfast? But-"
I scratched the back of my head.

"Geez, I made freakfast for you!
It would be nice, if you sit down and eat."
Ino gave me an annoyed look.

I did what she asked for and sat down next to her at the table.
Even so, I could not eat until I had an explanation.
"Ino, what happened yesterday?"

Ino sighed.
"Okay, okay, so you do not remember anything."
She eyed me with a serious expression, then she explained to me what had happened the last day and I understood.

So that is what happened...

Embarrassed i looked down, my whole face turned deeply red.
I was so desperated yesterday, i thought some alcohol would bring me in a better mood.
But then, I could not stop myself.
I remembered that now.
"So... you took care of me?"

"Yes"
I looked up to look at my best friend.
She avoided my gaze.
Did I do something embarrassing that night?!
She coughed in her fist, then looked at the food on the table.
"Eat something, i made it for you, I'm on a diet but I will eat a bit."

"Ahh ookay- thanks i guess."
I picked up the fork and did what Ino asked me for, even though I was not hungry at all.
But the food she made looked delicious and also tasted like it.
It had been a long time since someone had last made me a breakfast, so I appreciated it.

After we were done with eating and cleaning up, I took Ino to the door.
"So you want to go..."
I lowered my gaze sadly.

"Yes? Uhm or you want me to stay?"
She laughed, unsure how she should interprete my sentence.

"N-No... but"
I looked at her and smiled.
"Thank you Ino."

"Err...yes, sure.
You owe me something flat che-"
She stopped her sentence.
I was sure, she had been about to call me by the 'nickname' she gave me.
"Nevermind. I will go now. "

"Okay umm ...see ya!"
I smiled unsettled.

" yeah, bye."
She turned her back on me and left me as quickly as she could.
Somehow, it felt like that to me.
Did something happened yesterday? Anything weird?
I hoped not.
How embarrassing!

Feeling left behind, completely confused,
I went back to my room and lied down on my bed.
I spent the day off, dozing around, reading and doing a bit of exercise.
I did not really felt like doing something else.
Still, I was thinking about Ino, she was somehow on my mind.
She could be so nice and caring at times. When it comes down to it, she was there for me, like in old times, back then, when we were much younger.
